I dunno why but,
đź‘— A headcanon about their clothes :3
Okay then:
Susie's clothes: mostly her fashion is based on women's fashion in the 20's. Ex: pearls, flappers, etc) Loves showing off her pearls.
Louise's clothes: Her clothes mostly based off the 40's, her dresses usually evening dresses and summer hats. Loves to stay on top of the trend!
Hudson's clothes: Hudson always has his sleeves up because the sensation of them down on his skin unsettles him. He likes wearing his collar unbuttoned, making him feel like he can breath easier. However, he cares (at first) too much about the employee dress code than he does of being comfortable.
BS Doodles I did last night!
The Jack in this comic belongs to @thelocalmoth a gift to them :)
I was sick and bored. Don't judge me >:P
PLEASE READ IT PEOPLE. EVEN THOUGH IT LOOKS BAD I TRIED REALLY HARD ON IT.
I swear, this was Hudson's (aka my) reaction after he (I) collided with the chair.
I’ve got to know, where and how did Hudson get the scar across his eyebrow? I don’t think anybody has brought that up yet.
Great question! Since Hudson is supposed to represent me in batim, he got that scar on his eyebrow after he scraped it on a metal chair in the First grade. Fun fact? Both of my eyebrows have scars! One from the metal chair and the other from a round (yes, round) wooden coffee table! :)
Hudson stared at the keys on his typewriter, most stained by the ink on his fingertips. His eyes wandered to all the notes scattered on his desk, some words scribbled out or sentences left untended to. He picked one note up, an old story idea. The story itself wasn’t really special or original, so he decided to scrap it. It seems like nowadays that he scrapped everything.
Tap. Tap. Tap.Â
He adjusted his desk lamp, the light setting an eerie yellow glow over his typewriter. He lay against his chair, staring, but his fingers pausing. His ears strained to hear the tapping in the walls.Â
“Isn't it time you head home, Hudson?” A soft voice rang out.
Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap.Â
Hudson snapped his head up, his eyes narrowing. “I still have half an hour, Charlie,” he said, a defensive edge in his voice. His voice lacked any real bite, more distant than defensive. His eyes focused on the wall.Â
Charlie leaned against the doorframe of the department, her brown eyes soft with concern. She wore a navy blue mid-calf flared hemline. It was gaining its popularity in New York fashion.Â
“You don’t have to work so hard, you have the other writers to work with. Teamwork, remember?”Â
Hudson snorted, rolling his eyes. “Mhm,” he muttered dismissively, letting his face settle in his hand, glaring at his notes.Â
Charlie shook her head, letting out a quiet sigh. She walked over to his desk and was about to place her hand on his shoulder.
Hudson swatted the hand away. “I’m busy,” he snapped. He needed to hear the tapping sound.Â
Charlie recoiled back slightly, looking hurt. She then folded her arms and frowned at him till he looked up.
“Don’t you have a date to get to?” Hudson asked flatly, a brow raising.
Charlie clutched her purse, her lips pressed together in a thin line. “I do…but I just wanted to check up on you. Jack’s worried about you and so am I. You haven’t been sleeping, eating or even focusing properly-”
Hudson cut her off, shushing her, “Sh! Did you hear that?” His brown eyes darted to the walls and the ceiling that surrounded them. He pushed himself away from his desk and stood up from his seat, his full attention on the wall.Â
Charlie sighed, looking dispirited. She ran a hand down her face, inhaling sharply. “This only proves my point.” Her eyes darkened at him.
Hudson’s only response was a grunt, his back still turned on Charlie as he scanned the wall. He seemed undaunted by Charlie’s demeanor.Â
Imagine Hudson's ghost pops up XD
Wandering around the studio, as always, thinking to herself "huh, I've never been in the elevator before"...
She walks up to the elevator to find a little post-it note saying "out of order" on it... Damn
"well that sucks... Eh... Whatever..."
She walks away, and of course gets the wonderful idea to draw the broken down elevator :3(fanart coming soon)
Sorry I haven't been posting my work lately, BUT I promise I'm working behind the scenes. I'm just finishing up a comic I'm making for a moot of mine :3
After that I'll be back to drawing random shit (While also working on a new comic with a different moot :>)
Anyway, take care people and have a good day/night! I'll be back once I finish.
Yours truly,
Hudson.
P.S: Here have a loonie
EVERYONE LOOK AT WHAT MY MOOT DREW!!!
Poor Grant :(
Don't you hate it when you hallucinate your boss being a shadow demon behind you? yeah me too, Grant, me too.
Yeah Idk what this was, but I wanted to draw Grant Cohen again!
Hudson let out a chuckle, still fiddling with the lighter.
A small smile came creeping on his face when he replied, "It started with me telling Jack how good his tunes were. How everyone liked 'em in the writing department. And when our director was away, we'd blast the radio on full volume."
He smiled a little more now, but still flicked the lighter open and closed.
A young man approaches, offering a small smile.
“Hey, I hope I’m not interruptin’? I’m from the storyboardin’ department, I was told to grab the scripts…If they’re done, that is.”
“The name’s Ray, by the way.”
[hope you don’t mind the intrusion ~@w-graves-nook]
Mister Hendricks slowly peeled his eyes off his typewriter to look at the young man, tired brown eyes turning into mild distrust.
"Okay...? Hold on," the man muttered, having to hop out of his chair and search his lower cabinet drawers.
Finally, he pulled out a crisp file and gave it to the man.
"Here, most of them are finished, but there are some where you're going to have to fill in the blanks," Hendricks said gruffly.
"Hudson," the man pointed to himself.
