From Pluralpedia: “A median system (also called midcontinuum) is a system where members are not as distinct or separate from each other. It can be considered being somewhere between multiple and singlet.”
Median systems are just as plural as any other system and deserve to be uplifted and have their voices heard! Here’s some positivity for the median systems out there!
Do you have a host who is always fronting, are unable to switch, or are often blurry because the lines between headmates are not so rigidly defined? That’s okay, and it doesn’t make you any less plural by any means!
Is your system monoconscious, hydraconscious, or does it experience consciousness in a different way from most systems and singlets? That’s perfectly valid, and it’s awesome that you have such a unique plural experience!
Have you been fakeclaimed in the past or find it difficult to be taken seriously or receive the care that you need because your system is median? We are so sorry to hear that and we hope you will be able to get access to the support and kindness you need very soon!
Median systems deserve the world and we’re giving all of you a soft blanket and a cookie and some head pats. Please don’t feel too discouraged about something that’s outside of your control! Median systems are a lovely, valid, and crucial addition to the plural community and yes, that means you too, the median system reading this!
We hope y’all can continue to learn and grow as a system just the way you are! Please know that, however separate or cohesive your system is, you will always be welcome in our spaces. We’re rooting for you and we wish the very best for you and your future! You belong in system spaces just as much as any other system. Each median system has a unique perspective of multiplicity to bring to the table, and we’re so happy that y’all are out here living your best lives and sharing those experiences with us!

Everyday I’m learning that you just have to keep going, cry a little bit, but keep going.
Elizabeth Bishop, from The Selected Poems of Elizabeth Bishop; "The Burglar of Babylon,"
the music will always save me
i only ever thought
there was two types of loves
the kind you’d kill for
and the kind you’d die for.
but you, my darling,
you were the kind of love
i would live for.
