a/n: i thought this would be a super cool concept to see in BES, so I hope you enjoy.

You don’t know how you got here, all you knew is you did. Walking through the snow barely able to stand, your legs dragging behind you. Drops of blood streamed down your rough skin.

It was so windy and cold. The snow had to be over 4 feet deep as the blizzard forced your body forward. The air was so brittle and dry you couldn’t feel your skin.

Crisp snow blew in your face, blinding you from the little vision you could see.

The only thing you could feel was the little bit of warmth your blood carried inside of you.

Until it was the only thing you could feel. As it all got weary, and warmed you all around, sending a hot streak up your body. Until it hit the ground.

your eyes fluttered open slightly, as you swayed in and out of consciousness. Your body was on the floor, but it wasn’t of snow. Instead it was wood, a hard wooden floor. the coldness was now a crackling warmth, as voices muttered all around you.

“I don’t trust it.” you could make out a man’s voice saying, then a sharp shing of metal.

“Wait! Stop we haven’t even talked to her yet!” another said, more high pitched.

you used whatever strength you could find in your drowsy body to lift yourself up, a grut of shock coming from behind you. you turned over on the floor, trying to sit up, a blade meeting your face.

You yelped in shock. Quickly crawling yourself backwards from the metal in your face.

“Taigen! Stop! I told you you’d scare her!”

You screamed looking up at the man infront of you. He was an Asian man with dark hair, his eyebrows knitted as his face held a look of uncertainty but fierceness.

You screamed in fear of the blade drawn infront of you, as you huddled yourself backwards, shutting your eyes closed. “SHUT UP!” The man said harshly, gritting his teeth.

“GET AWAY FROM ME!” You yelled, crawling yourself backwards.

He looked at the other man, confused at the way you were speaking. Your Japanese sounded weird, different.

“ugh..” a scoff was heard. “be quiet,” a man’s voice distantly said, pulling open the cabin door.

“What did you bring in this time taigen? “he said sarcastically.

They wore a big hat, covering their eyes, but all you could see was the sword strapped to their side.

thats until their eyes met yours. It went quiet as the man backed up, eyes widening in shock as he stared into yours. those orange glasses covering his own.

All that filled the room was the crackle of the fire place and your quiet frantic breaths of fear.

“Taigen, put the sword down.” They ordered, their eyes not leaving yours. The man hesitantly glanced between you and him before doing so.

All he could do is stare at you. And you knew why. Of course, you were different. Your hair was different, your skin, nobody was like you.

until they took off their glasses.

What you didn’t know, was they were too.

and like a mirror, blue eyes stared back at you.

you locked eyes with this man, as his gaze became soft, almost comfortable looking back into yours.

and for a spit second you felt safe with this stranger.

“Your eyes..” you both said.

“they’re just like mine.”

how would u think TF141 would be like with a japanese reader?

i think as much as with any reader not from the UK--they would be normal about it. if you're working with them, it's mission first. they'd open up and socialize with you more, ask you questions about yourself, after you get to know them. these dudes are well-traveled and they've probs been to Japan (or what have you). probs more than once. they know a little about the differences between living there versus the UK. might have even picked up bits and pieces of the language. only enough to get by.

i will say Price strikes me as more likely to be fluent or close to fluent in any given language. he'd be having conversations with you in Japanese (or your other language(s)) as much as possible in front of the 141. as practice, he says, but he's a little smug about the fact that he can. he knows it drives them crazy. they want to know what you're talking about. if you're talking mad shit.

Gaz would be secretly trying to learn more vocab so he can eavesdrop. one day he's showing you something on his phone and a notification pops up reminding him it's time for his daily lesson. exposed. no way you didn't see it. he is instantly sheepish.

Ghost knows a little more, enough to speak it, but he would get... mm self-conscious about speaking it in front of a fluent/native speaker. he could be speaking it normally (maybe showing off at Gaz) but the moment you walk into earshot he'd be stumbling over his words.

Soap "doesn't speak Spanish" MacTavish would be dying to ask you all kinds of questions. catch Price and/or Gaz staring at him with the hardest "be normal motherfucker" look known to man when you're around. and Soap WOULD hold out as long as he can, but at some point he crumbles under pressure and in a moment of weakness he's gonna ask you how to say "my teammates are raging assholes."

some citizens would describe you both as similar in attitude, while that would be the case, they were not entirely right, nor they were entirely wrong. you were exhibiting power and so was he, leaving most Mondstadt citizens in a daze. although, you both don't use this against them, opting for the more humble and steady approach. as well as you two work together in the day, helping DIluc with his work, you two remained powerful even in the night, working your way efficiently through the Darknight's endeavors. you suffered a severe inferiority complex due to reasons you don't disclose, and Diluc tries his best to comfort you. the expectations put on you were enough to send you to the edge, ultimately cutting all ties with your sibling, and that's probably what you two talk about in most serious discussions, if you were comfortable in opening up, and if he was too. the knights fear both of you due to your reserved-- but terrifying demeanor nonetheless, you do not hesitate to spit out words with your tone as cold as ice to those incompetent knights. words of slander coming out of your mouth to Diluc about the knights, and he couldn't help but smirk in amusement, maybe you could say that in front of Kaeya, maybe?

Literally a high schooler now raising two children

The first night Megumi and Tsumiki are with him he's like "what do you want to eat?" Before realizing the only thing is his kitchen is a half eaten tube of Pringle chips

"Who wants to go on an adventure to the convenience store!"

Megumi is not amused

They have to wake him up the next morning because they are hungry and mf is sleeping in

Most definitely asks them if they want coffee, he's not used to kids so he just sees them as small adults for some reason

They ask him to read them a goodnight story and he's like "tf is that??" He genuinely does not know because of his childhood

As much as he groans about having to take care of them he genuinely begins to love those two and almost cried when Megumi slipped up and called him "papa" (Tsumiki always did lol)

Feels bad about getting home late so he always gets them gifts when he goes out

Takes them to cool places whenever he can and has Tsumiki on his shoulders and Megumi is reluctantly holding his hand

— ooooh boy, the first time you had landed your eyes on him you were smitten, really. his eyes were gorgeous, stunning, he was built too! you were, as always, complimenting him in your head.

when you both get together, however, you both will shower each other in affection. words of professing his love and vice versa bounces of the walls, it almost sounds like a pissing contest, really.

he loves your kindness and how easily you get flustered. this leads him to tease you if he can. sometimes, he'll offer to pay for your food, due to the ridiculous amounts of food you can consume in one sitting.

he fell even more in love with you in battle. the way your body moves to adjust to your opponents' attacks makes you even more unpredictable and powerful, and he admires the way you take things seriously. also, he thinks your sword is stunning. (he cut himself while using it.) cue him begging you to spar every week.

you always ask him to marry you if he can, and trust me, he's already planning the wedding. he also worries for you due to his line of work, but you have to reassure him you can handle yourself. (although, "handling yourself" is an understatement to what you can actually do.)

if you have a breathing technique similar to Mitsuri, he will be shocked, yet it further spurs him on. your breathing style compliments his vision, and he will always praise you-- as you did him.

overall, a pretty wholesome relationship! but if you fight together, there is no escape, you both are death personified.

ᯓᡣ𐭩 Ratchet almost wants to skip the holiday, he doesn't really see the point of it. But when finding out it's a way of showing affection, he subtly picks it up. Gave you a heart-shaped box of little energon cubes. Even if you can't really eat them, the thought alone was touching, especially with how embarrassed he was delivering it

ᯓᡣ𐭩 Jazz immediately sets out to make you a mix of music. He rapid-downloads all the cheesy human love songs he can find. When listening it to you, he tries to sing along to some of them, only knowing about 1/3rd of the words. It's the time with you that matters, especially seeing you laugh at his attempts

ᯓᡣ𐭩 Wheeljack immediately begins building something for you, and spends the next few weeks working through lab explosions. At the end of it, he gives you a custom-made gift— a heart that folds out to reveal a ring that ended up being the perfect bracelet size for you

ᯓᡣ𐭩 Bumblebee takes to the idea immediately, and he snags a bunch of ideas for human customs. You get practically smothered in flowers he grabbed a servofull of out of a field, and he makes sure you have a plush that's of ample side (to him it was rather small, to you it was almost twice your size)

ᯓᡣ𐭩 Soundwave is rather apathetic to the concept. He barely interacts with bots when it comes to romance, so his approach to humans isn't much different on the surface. On the day of, he has a schedule of hangouts for you to do together all planned out, and a collection of traditional Cybertronian songs for you to listen to

ᯓᡣ𐭩 Starscream absolutely laughs at the notion. That's really something humans dedicate so much time and energy to? So simple, so inane. But... you are free then, right? Because he is, and he supposes there's a spot nearby that would be nice for a lunch. And maybe he picked up a box of those stupid chocolates that are in all the human commercials. Don't look to much into it, he says

He tries to think about how societally it makes sense to prioritize those types of relationships, even if he's never really had time for them. He'll also show up day of with a little bowtie and an invitation to dinner for you. It's customary to have a date, and he tells you outright that you were his first pick

ᯓᡣ𐭩 Thundercracker might not see the point, but he's absolutely down to hang out with you. You've been his favorite human since the beginning, why not? He doesn't really know what to do, but any time you make a romantic gesture to him, he flushes in blush and ends up nervously and very gently holding your hand
