#MarchMeetTheMaker 💜 STYLE 🌙 I’ve never been much of a landscape artist or a very skilled cartoonist. I would say my love of drawing people and animals lands somewhere on the semi-realistic scale. I noticed that I don’t like to go that extra step into realistic or photorealistic art. I enjoy everyone else’s creativity with comic and cartoon art, but I tend to be hyper critical of my own efforts in that realm. 🌙 I can see the style difference in my art from others, but I can’t verbally pin point exactly what it is. I like to go for maybe more unnatural, saturated colors. I like bold sitting next to dark. And like so many artists, I LIVE FOR those bits of highlight and glow at the end of a piece. 🌙 This is a piece I am most proud of. It isn’t terribly popular in my shop, but that’s okay. The Archer has a perfect skin palette in my eyes. A little orange, a few hidden blue tones. 🌙 It is also important to me to use poses and develop characters that aren’t perfect “Instagram Girls”.
