nesta antis trying to put a negative spin on the valkyries’ friendship is so weird to me
it’s literally the only friendship in the series where there isn’t a weird power dynamic (except maybe feyre and lucien but that friendship is hanging by it’s last thread)
rhys literally pulls the high lord card on his friends whenever they don’t follow his orders and that is so weird. cassian is out here calling his rhys ‘high lord’ and it’s like … aren’t you guys supposed to be best friends of 500 years?
does amren actually like anyone in the inner circle? i’m not so sure. why does mor not feel comfortable coming out to the inner circle when she’s known them for five centuries? and i’m not even starting on the cassian/mor/azriel situation that has been going on for centuries. they might be family to each other but they have the weirdest dynamic ever
and isn’t the IC supposed to be feyre’s great new family that always includes her in things? then why did they hide the truth of her pregnancy from her? they would clearly choose rhys over her any day and it’s not surprising because feyre’s only tie to them is being rhysand’s mate
and this argument that ‘nesta’s abuse needs to be called out by gwyn and emerie’ WHAT? they know she had an unhealthy relationship with her sisters and parents and they know she was a bitch and they don’t care because she’s working on herself and she’s been nothing but a great friend to both of them. are they supposed to hold a meeting with feyre and nesta and make them apologise to each other and talk it out?
but if these antis are so adamant that bad behaviour gets called out by friends then why don’t the antis want the IC to call rhys out for sexually assaulting and abusing feyre UTM? why don’t they want the IC to call out amren for being as big of a bitch as nesta is to everyone? why don’t they want anyone to call out azriel for making mor uncomfortable for 500 years?
it’s clear they just hate that nesta made her own friends and is happy with them (and i understand it’s hard to see a character you hate thriving with new healthy friendships) but it’s so weird to try and make this friendship a negative thing when it’s literally the healthiest and most uplifting and positive relationship in the series
Cassian: boob is too funny......tit is too aggressive.....breast is too formal.....
Azriel: it’s seven in the morning
The Bat Boys would be Swifties
elucien never had a bad track "mine. you are mine and i am yours. mate" BANGER. "his name is lucien" SLAPS. "don't just leave her on the damned floor" SEXY. and don't even get me STARTED on "i can hear your heart beating through the stone. can you hear mine?"
the mandalorian season 3 episode 4: the foundling has no reason to be as funny as it is 😭😭 like come on
din djarin accidentally makes bo-katan join his weird cult
din djarin saying “next challenger” and then setting down the smallest little 1 foot tall child to fight a child who is at least 4 feet tall AND ALSO PAZ VIZSLA’S KID???
din djarin sassing said 4 foot tall kid
grogu absolutely destroying that kid by backflipping over him multiple times and then winning the training darts thing after literally being taught how to do it 30 seconds beforehand
THAT KID THEN BEING TAKEN BY A FUCKING PTERODACTYL AFTER TALKING SHIT?/!-?-?-!-?? (bad day for ragnar)
grogu’s oversized chestplate 😭😭😭
all the mandalorians’ jetpacks running out of fuel and them grunting and panting as they try to scale the mountain
all of the mandalorians suddenly just getting up and dispersing to eat in private because what else are they supposed to do
THEM BRINGING HOME THE PTERODACTYL’S THREE KIDS AND BOKATAN TELLING THE ARMOURER THAT THEYRE FOUNDLINGS 😭😭😭
the fact that, as you get a new piece of armour, you just have to sit in the armourer’s little lair as she makes your pieces like 🧍🧍
anyways the mandalorian is silly as hell bro 😭😭
Padme: You're annoying.
Anakin, in his head: Enemies to lovers, slowburn, angst with happy ending, 300k+ words
Krell: I'm going to ask you to be respectful. Fives, Jesse and Hardcase: I will politely decline.
I honestly feel like nobody in lotr mentions how fucking weird Legolas is. He stays up pacing the floor and singing to himself in the dead of night. He deadass stares straight into the tree line in the absolute pitch black when no one else can see anything. He yells goodbye to a river he has heard about in songs. He's so strange and not one character mentions it AT ALL. I absolutely love him.
Tech: This is Phee, she’s a pirate
Phee: Liberator of Historical Artifacts to you Brown Eyes ;)
Crosshair: ….
Crosshair: There’s no fucking way
I love how Kit Fisto just decided he was gonna be shirtless for the battle on Mon Cala
All of the Mon Calamari and the Quarren are wearing clothes in these episodes but Kit Fisto decided it was a tits out kind of weekend
The absolute cruelty of the "Let Go" cover playing during the pool scene, because in order for Maddie to get her life back, Wally will have to let her go eventually. And she'll have to let go of him too, not just because she won't be able to see or speak to him anymore, but because she'll get to grow up and live a full life when he never will. She'll get to go to college, find herself outside of the confines of adolescence, have a career of her choosing, maybe even fall in love again and have a family if she wants to. If she gets to live again, she will be the Wendy to his Peter. The Wendy who gets to grow up while he'll always be outside her window, waiting for a reunion that will never come. This would've messed me up as a teenager but I think it hits even harder as an adult because you have a greater awareness of the magnitude of that kind of loss, especially if you know what it's like to see friends and classmates die young. They stay frozen in time, unable to move forward and hit certain milestones, while you and the rest of their peers are left to go on living. It's a surreal experience, and it never feels right. I think we all automatically expect our peers to be out there somewhere living parallel lives even if we're not close to them. We expect them to get the same amount of time we do. But some of them don't, and you have to keep going while you wonder why them, why were they the ones who had to get left behind? The older you get, the more gut-wrenching that thought becomes, and it's something this show handles very well without shoving it in your face to evoke an emotional reaction. It just quietly acknowledges the reality of that experience, which makes it all the more poignant.
Just a ton of fandom things Star Wars, ACOTAR, HP, Marauders, LOTR, anything I might be into at the moment
