Thought I’d share a few of my favourite older Jily fics for anyone that hasn’t come across them before, or wants to reminisce.

 If We Only Die Once by Apalapucian (multi-chapter, rated M)

Lily gets flak for dating James and gets sucked in to the belief that he’s better off without her. She tells him she doesn’t love him anymore, and after a while, she manages to make him believe the lie.

Bloody Shangrila by dorcasdeadowes (multi-chapter, rated M) - muggle AU

“The way she babbled on about the place made it seem like some sort of promised land, but James knew full well that is was nothing of the sort. Sowsworth was a wasteland that comprised of seven shops, a pub, and the incredibly bored shadows of lonely people. It was not bloody Shangri-la.

Love and Other Tragedies by Fancyeyes (multi-chapter, rated M) - Lily’s on a journey of self-discovery while trying to solve murders of students. This has one of the best plot twists I’ve ever read in fic.

And the Wolves All Cry by monroeslittle (long-shot, rated M) - AU angst (with a happy ending)
