Be she an adorable child, a young girl or a gracious old lady; I pay my obeisance to every woman, the sustainer and nourisher of men; for in them, I find unbound compassion of a mother and boundless love of a daughter and trust of a friend.

Veeru sahasrabuddhi wasn't wrong when he said, " life is race " . Well that's the mind set we have inherited since generations. Be it academics, relationship, personality etc etc. First we've compete to get a position in society (for our parents ) later get married to someone to keep the social thing going . Where as I wonder what exactly society does to us when we fall , or do mistakes. Certainly according to society we are not supposed to enjoy our life . We can't study because we enjoy it , we can't stay single because we would love to live carefree . Technical term hai iske liye " samajik bandhan" . When people can't compete in their generation they prepare their next generation to compete . I wonder when would this end . Let them enjoy what they are doing. Guide but don't pressurise to perform for some pseudo excellence .
Few things in life stir up as much nostalgia in me as Amar Chithra Kathas. I remember spending countless days and nights reading stories of Vishnu and Shiva, of Devas and Asuras, of powerful kings and faithful devotees, mesmerized by the colourful illustrations. I'd read them from cover to cover, over and over again till I'd memorized the dialogues. And each time I read them, I'd be just as fascinated as I was when I read them for the first time.
