Sometimes I do ship something and it's not unpopular its just that fanon harbors enough popular misconceptions to make the content frequently unreadable. So I will be like "can I have my ship please" and the internet will go "sure! here are a thousand results!" and I will go "is it actually my ship or is it some guys who are basically totally different characters in all meaningful ways that someone is having masquerade as my blorbos?" and the answer is yes often enough that I give up

Proship culture is getting so fucking mad when people mischaracterize my favorite characters, but I keep my mouth shut about it because it's fiction and it's wrong to attack people over it. But goddamn it, I want to strangle people who insult my favs ._. They're my blorbos, how dare you?

Ngl, I've cried over people mischaracterizing my favorite characters. (For example, people who act like Nanami Kento is heartless, or that Gojo Satoru is a perverted creep with no respect for consent. THEY WOULD NEVER... These aren't headcanons either, just very poor media literacy, then again the JJK fandom has zero media literacy, let's be fr.)
