"I don't feel like a girl" "I don't feel like a boy"
There isn't a specific way to feel as a girl or boy. Patriarchy has been forced to us how we're supposed to "act" in order to fit the patriarchal standard. Anyone can be feminine or masculine, anyone doesn't have to be feminine or masculine, it's okay to not "fit" in a gender stereotype. The point is we're not supposed to, we're just humans.
The trouble with raising boys, see, is that if you don't tell him he's a special boy enough he'll become a serial killer. If you tell him that he is a special boy too much, however, he will also become a serial killer.
“okay but what about women, this is real feminism!”
blah blah blah. feminism wouldn’t exist in the way it does today if it weren’t for trans women.
intersectional feminism would not be a thing if it weren’t for trans women.
if you think for one second that cis women are safe, that this isn’t step 20 in a long list of terrible steps towards stripping all women of their bodily autonomy, reducing their rights and posing major threats to their freedoms, you are deluded and you’re in for a terrible shock.
i’m so sorry to say this - people in power politically, socially and systemically have never cared about protecting women. only about controlling them. you are not now nor will you ever be exempt from that.
trans women are not a threat to cis women. in fact, it is overwhelmingly the other way around. and isn’t that disgusting?
As a black woman the more radleaning I go the more I realise how much leftist men and libfems hide their misogyny by putting "cis white" in front of woman.
“I do not identify with being silent I do not identify with being pink I do not identify with being soft I do not identify with being scared I do not identify with being weak I do not identify with being submissive I do not identify with being irrational I do not identify with being hysterical I do not identify with being bad at maths I do not identify with being unintelligent I do not identify with being followed I do not identify with being grabbed I do not identify with being assaulted I do not identify with being raped I do not identify with being inferior I do not identify with being a woman as society has created it. I do not identify as cis. I am not cis. I am a woman trying to fight with every fibre of my being against everything that my “gender identity” tells me to be. Woman as defined by society is not my gender identity. My gender identity is fuck this oppressive bullshit, and let me be a human fucking being.”

it’s literally so unfair that ‘gendered’ insults towards men really just slut-shame their mothers - ‘bastard’, ‘son of a bitch’. NOT fucking fair. men call women cunt whore bitch cow slut crone dyke etc etc etc until the ends of the earth, and alllll those words are just fueled by hatred of the female body. let’s flip the script girls…. I want to be able to call a guy ‘‘semen sack’ and for it to be the worst insult he’s ever had thrown in his face
Two people are standing in front of you. One is male, and says “I want to share a space with her”. The other is female, and says “I don’t want to share a space with him”.
Think: Which person do you listen to? Which person’s desires do you care more about? Which person’s preferences do you think are more important? Which person’s boundaries do you think are less important? Which person do you think is more important, and which person do you think is less important? Why?
