c!tommy is one of the only people who canonically has shown to understand that your own pov isn't the gospel truth. that understands that using your pain as a shield isn't the way to go, it's not healthy.

and he's standing up to his abuser, the one who made him doubt his own reality and pov, and tells him: "no, everyone has the ability to be able to identify the toxicity in their own actions and change."

Doesn't cry until about a week after you're buried/cremated

When he does, he's standing alone in what used to be the home you shared with him

The only light shining is from the moon outside

He looks out the window at the night sky

And just drops.

It's the most he's ever cried, he thinks.

If you were there, you'd hold him

You'd rake your fingers through his hair and rub his back

You'd tell him that everything was going to be okay

But you aren't.

You're gone.

And he's never been more alone in his life.
