I would like to wholeheartedly thank whoever edited “List of Slavic deities” wikipedia page recently. Far from flawless but at least I don’t want to throw myself off a cliff while looking at it anymore.
one of the first prison literature books I read was by a Syrian dissident who witnessed the Hama massacre and was arrested. Syrian prisons were my gateway to understanding the machine of Arab oppression. Its liberation now can't be but a great historical moment
