erm does anyone like lis anymore
❤❤❤❤
1) Opposites attract! I like how their hippie/punk styles complement each other.
2) They have music in common e.g. in LIS ep1, “Santa Monica Dream” a sad/emo song (something Max would listen to herself) played in Chloe’s room and they both danced to “Piano Fire”… this song is not anything you would expect Chloe to “thrash” to so it tells us that Chloe doesn’t restrict herself to just punk rock.
Someone added this for music:
“Also Chloe listens to Bright eyes which is an folk rock/indie rock group. Same as Alt-J which is listened by Max. So, not so different music taste ! (For those who still don’t believe that point)”
3) Even if they are polar opposites personality wise, they clearly enjoy each other’s company.
4) Despite her shyness, Max is a “smart ass” according to Chloe so obviously she can match Chloe’s wit.
5) According Max, Chloe looks like the “cover of Hipster Girl dot com” so in some ways, Chloe is a hipster too (the edgier kind).
6) Max and Chloe are childhood BFF’s that become estranged but when they reunite 5 years later, they instantly become BFF’s again. That’s how strong their bond is.
7) They are partners in crime and time ;)
8) Friendship is the best foundation for a romantic relationship and Max & Chloe already have that.
9) Max made Chloe a mix CD, which is uber cute.
10) Both like watching movies and and they watched “Blade Runner” together in the alternative timeline in LIS ep4.
11) They are both pirates in spirit!
Even after Max “matured”, she still wanted to play pirates with Chloe - “Can we build another pirate fort and keep the world out?”
12) Chloe brings out Max’s fun and carefree side.
13) Max is the “moral” one and so she has a positive influence on Chloe e.g. if Max refuses Chloe’s plan to steal the money (handicapped fund) then Chloe agrees with her and puts the money back. Max is kind and empathetic and frankly Chloe needs someone like that in her life.
14) They both like diner food from Two Whales.
15) Max loves taking shots of Chloe clearly!

16) In LIS ep3, we find out that Chloe constantly told Joyce she wished that could be more like Max over the past five years… which means that Chloe admired Max a lot even while they were separated.
17) Max plays guitar but there is a clue that Chloe likes to play guitar too!
18) They both have Hawt Dawg Man t-shirts!
19) I believe that deep down, Chloe wants love, understanding, loyalty and stability and Max is more than qualified to give that to her.
20) Chloe trusts Max e.g if Max tells Chloe to get rid of her gun, she says: “I don’t like that at all. But I trust you.”
21) If Max makes enough pro-Chloe choices, then Chloe sets Max’s profile pic as her phone background in LIS ep3.
22) Chloe thinks nerds are hot (LIS ep3) and Max is a nerd.
23) Chloe helps Max build her self-belief and self-confidence - “you make me feel like I know what I’m doing“
24) Chloe was obsessed with getting out of Arcadia Bay but Max is the one who made her want to stay - ”you make me feel like I still have a reason for being in Arcadia Bay”
25) They will never leave each other - “Don’t look so sad. I’m never leaving you” / “Chloe, I am never leaving you again.”
26) Max saved Chloe over and over even at the cost of losing her dream as a hotshot photographer - “Sorry, San Francisco… Chloe comes first”
27) Max made Chloe happy period - “You made me smile and laugh, like I haven’t done in years!”
28) Depending on player choices, they kiss TWICE so they are more than “just friends”. For me, the dare-kiss is real because afterwards Chloe asks her not to rewind and take that kiss back.
29) Chloe told Max she loved her multiple times i.e. “You are such a geek. That’s why I love you” / “I love you, Max. See you around” / “I’ll always love you.“
30) Max to Chloe: “You are my number one priority now. You are all that matters to me!”
yes i don’t want to go out of my comfort zone
Thank you Steven Universe!
It’s over, Isn’t it?
It’s a big week for Life is Strange: Before the Storm. The bonus episode Farewell is out now and the boxed (Limited and Vinyl) editions release this week on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC (Steam)! The Limited Edition will appear in North American stores tomorrow, March 6 and on PAL-territory shelves on March 9. You can buy it here.
The Limited Edition includes a physical artbook featuring art from Life is Strange: Before the Storm plus the original soundtrack of Before the Storm on CD. That’s all licensed tracks including certain Daughter tracks. A tracklist can be found here. The full OST, composed by Daughter, is available separately through their album: “Music from Before the Storm”.
The release of Farewell signals a lot of change. With this bonus episode we’re completing the Before the Storm arc, Deck Nine Games wrap up their foray into the universe of Life is Strange and we bid a fond farewell to Max, Chloe, Rachel and all the other fan favourites of Arcadia Bay.
We hope that the hard work and love that we put into Farewell will shine through and that you feel that we do the characters that DONTNOD created justice. Without knowing if or when we might once again see these characters, Deck Nine Games took extra time and care to craft this Farewell episode into something meaningful that will stay with everyone who plays it. The original voice actors, Ashly Burch and Hannah Telle, have returned to voice younger, more innocent versions of Chloe and Max as they embark on one final pirate-themed adventure.
But when a door closes, a window opens… or, something like that. We now look forward to the coming months, when Michel Koch and Raoul Barbet’s team at DONTNOD returns to present the new story and characters of the next Life is Strange. Until then, Farewell!
It’s been a whole year since Polarized already..
