THAT why the Chameleon nabbed Lord Shen from the Spirit World despite not being a kung fu master. She isn't just obsessed with Po, she's also obsessed with him!

Forever in love with this luminous, incredible woman who rose above the pain and horrors of this world to leave a lasting legacy of love and hope, light and compassion, of belief that a more peaceful, just world is possible if we fight for it. Honestly, I am quite grateful as I finally got a chance to count how many pages my essay is. Herrah has 9 pages, Monomon has 10 page, and Lurien...is still a work in progress, but looks like he'll have 30 pages.

What Should I do? Post Everything or Separate?

I definitely need this for a character I'm writing.

When writing emotionally reserved characters:

Show your character's struggles with holding in emotions. Just because your character won't let themself go in public, doesn't mean they don't struggle holding everything in.

Find a motive. Pride and/or consideration for those around them can make emotionally reserved people hold back more than would be considered good for them. There are other reasons too, perhaps the initial cause and the reason now are different, but try to give them a reason.

Show side-effects. Everything you bottled up shows itself in another way, whether it's physical or mental. This can be long- and short-term, depending on the severity of the emotions.

Give them coping mechanisms. Everyone who wishes not to show certain emotions has a trick or two to keep themselves in check. Taking a sip of water, not looking people in the eyes, clenching their fists, breathing just a bit too deeply.

Write subconscious signs that they give off, which close friends or family might pick on. Just because these characters want to keep their emotions to themselves, doesn't mean they don't give off signs. Some manage to keep said signs well hidden from those closest to them, but it's more common for environment to pick up on something at the very least.

Imagine THIS playing out in game:

Random idea: IF the Dreamers are still alive in the real world, then you should SEE them in Godhome. AND get bonuses for keeping them alive.

Team Cherry could totally pull this off as it's still the Dream Realm AND the Godseekers are calling just about everyone there.

Now, I am not saying that we should get Dreamer Boss fights (though that would be cool even if impossible to pull off if you know the original concept of the Dreamers), but what about finding a secret room and BOOM! The Dreamers are there.

Now, finding the Dreamers would be cool and all, as you get extra dialogue with all three and get to see everyone's character (especially you Lurien). But what if they would give you boosts and insights into the Boss Fights you are about to do?

What if Lurien could analyze the Boss fight weaknesses, specifically the glitches and loopholes in them such as False Knight's/Failed Champion's cheat or White Defender's cheat? What if Monomon ran tests in the background to help you figure out how to get the Lifeblood seeds, not to mention help you get them? What if Herrah would randomly help you in battle? Though I would not be opposed to her taking care of Godseeker for me due to all the times Godseeker calls Little Knight a worm as in the earthworm.

And finally, when you reach the final bosses in Pantheon of Hallownest, the Dreamers actively help you during the final bosses fights, each one taking turns (depending on lore or character) until all three help you take on Absolute Radiance. Say goodby to Fall Damage! Also, the idea of Monomon launching an explosive at the Radiance's face looks so lovely.

And of course, the ending cutscene where all three Dreamers wake up and the Hollow Knight is freed to a world without an Infection...please?????? Canonically, the Godhome ending and cutscene STILL play if the Dreamers are alive, but we don't SEE the Dreamers waking up. So please can we see them? Can we see all the hugs?

Anyway-what do you all think?

This is beautiful! I was just expecting a picture, not a whole comic! By the way, I only saw this on Epiphany which is the 12th day of Christmas...so you are quite fine in taking the extra time. I find it a wonderful way to celebrate.

Not an ilustration but a small comic this time, just a simple interaction. If ghost could change their cloack I would love to get the fur thing from Mato, like, idk after learning all nail arts you visit him and get it as gift.

Thanks for your suggestion I hadn't actually thought to make something christmas related.

Finally took a minute to put together the art vs artist for the first half of 2024 (everything here is from Jan to June)! I haven't really been able to draw as much this year except class doodles but I'm pretty happy with it.

Didn't draw as many cute pieces or animals as last year but that's alright. But damn, no OCs this time. Sad. :+

I also drew a couple of slightly horror pieces this year, which I hadn't done in a hot minute (I can't do this in class or people will look over my shoulder and think I'm planning murder or something lol).
