Oh yeah I know about Ao3 not being able to host images (you can however post them on your drafts on tumblr and still use them). I was considering it mainly for nsfw art, since tumblr is very inconsistent with which nsfw it allows.

Part of me feels like I probably should just bite the bullet and make a twitter but. ugh.

Where do people even post art nowadays, other than here? I tried Bluesky but it's empty and instagram is fucked unless you have a big following. Do people still post on twitter?

The best thing about being an artist is that you can draw what you want. Until you can't draw it. Then it's horrible being an artist.
