the Poignancy(TM) of the Jim-Stricklander dynamic: mentor turned opponent, protégée turned enemy. really gets me in the gut because it's so painfully obvious that Strickler actually did want to protect Jim on some level and genuinely valued his student's bright-eyed enthusiasm and heroic nature up until it started being a real threat to his goals, at which point he became vicious and cruel with horrible ease.

but also, the Hilarity(TM) of how hedge-wizard assassin's declared nemesis is a teenager whose level he frequently descends to in an increasingly undignified series of slapfights, powertripping, and taunting that culminates with Stricklander dating Jim's mom, only for him to fall hard for said lady who instilled all these obnoxious values in the kid in the first place. peak tragicomedy. no notes.

it’s not going to change how you feel about it, it’s not going to change the way you use it for comfort or suddenly turn you into a slobbering animal without knowledge of consent, it just makes the distinction that the community started as sexual and that, as a result, all vore has the potential to be viewed as such.

i don’t understand what’s so hard about just…accepting it and calling it a nonsexual kink. there’s nothing sfw about it, but it can still be nsx. it’s just something you wouldn’t show family or coworkers, and something you shouldn’t allow minors to be involved in.
