ATTENTION COSPLAYERS:
I would like to make the paint brand âAngelusâ known. It is a special paint that is for leather, faux leather, rubber, and similar surfaces.
This is literally the best paint you can buy if you love a pair of shoes, but they arenât in the right color for your character.
This stuff coats VERY well AND the coats of paint bend with your shoes. This means no cracking!!
In the photos above I took black rain boots and painted them with Angelus Turquoise. As you can see, they donât look black any more! Itâs so good!
I managed to paint two boots with a little one ounce bottle of the paint, and I still have a third of the bottle left over!
The paint dries very fast, so you can put layer on top of layer on top of layer without it streaking.
You can get the paint on Amazon and it comes in every color!
I just really wanted to make this known!! :D This stuff is amazing!
A totally random sleeping beauty origin story in which the king and queen go to outside help to conceive. the gorgons, the creatures that lay in the belly of the swamps, slithering in the boiling pools, grant the coupleâs request. they are loyal subjects, after all.
they promise that the child will live a long life. they promise that she will have great strength, will speak many tongues, and that she will strike awe into the hearts of men.
the queen thanks them, but before she can go they stop her with one last promise: if the child is not loved, then they must give her back.
I will love my child, say the two, and race off atop a shimmering steed.
9 months pass and the queen gives birth to a child, a healthy baby girl. but as time goes on, things start going wrong. servants start burning from the inside out, objects begin to vibrate from the toddlerâs cries. the princess howls like a never-ending night, and nursemaids leave blind.
this cannot go on, the people hiss. this cannot go on.
and so the king and queen place her away from the castleâs inhabitants, far up in a tower. there she may scream and the world may tremble. there she may cry and no oneâs ears will bleed. there she may live her life, among four stone walls. alone.
they send instructors up to the tower, one by one. a professor. a sorcerer. a hunter. a tamer. each attempt more desperate.
until there is nothing left to do. and so the princess is left in her tower, viewed as more monster than girl, fed by scraps through the door.
the parents do not fulfill their promise.
they do not give her back.
the princess, in filthy tatters and between clawed walls, pleads to be let out. i will be good, she promises tearfully. i will be good, just let me see them. I want to see them.
but she cannot control her nature, these sick powers she has been given. so she is left, often starved.
over time her pleas become bargains. i will not scream, if you let me see them once. i will not look upon you, if you let me touch them. i will not kill you, if you only let me be with them one last time.
none of these are accepted.
the princess turns fourteen. she grows strong. she speaks many tongues. and she strikes awe into the hearts of whoever she meets.
and why not? her eyes are yellow, like a deathly hawk. her hair hangs low, like the night. her teeth shine brightly, like the fang of a beast. her skin, though. oh, her skin. it glistens and glimmers and it is cold, like a reptile.
and her heart grows stunted. small. shattered.
they did not love her. no one did. they did not give her back, either.
months pass and crowds gather, swooping into the castle in courtly procession. the princess stares down in curiousity, but also longing. why are they here? what has happened below?
for the first time in her life, she escapes. i will not tell you how. perhaps because it is terrible and wicked. perhaps because it is clever. and perhaps because it is boring.
only you really know.
âthe baby princess,â the people whisper to each other, while she clings to the shadows. âthe baby princess.â
she is not a baby though, is she.
is. she.
and so the christening begins, golden plates and golden goblets set down. each numbered correctly, one for each guest.
the fairies of the glen. oh, how beautiful they are. their wings gleam like dewdrops in the morning, and their hair slips over their shoulders like the sun peeking through trees. they have made this possible, everyone murmurs. we must be thankful to the fairies, for they have given the rulers their daughter.
they all sit down to dine, and the princessâthe eldest, the first born, the forgottenâstumbles in. her hair is lank. her eyes bleed tears. and her skin is cracking, old and scaly. oh, she is gruesome. the courtiers gag at the sight of her.
âleave, witch!â they order, but she pays them no heed. she walks up to the throne, and smiles at the king and queen.
âremember me?â she murmurs, teeth sharp but smile pleasant. she looks around. âevery plate and every goblet. every person has a setting. except for me. now, why wasnât I invited?â
âwe donât know who you are,â they reply fearfully.
âoh?â
the ground begins to shake. the guests scream. people howl, ears bleeding.
âyou should not have struck another bargain so soon, you know,â she says, glancing at the fairiesâ iridescent wings. âfor everyone knows that gifts from the forest folk are not gifts. song, beauty, grace, wealth. are these all not useful to the fairies? and they will get their gifts back.â she stares at her parents. âthey always get their children back.â
âplease,â beg the king and queen, kneeling before their daughter. âplease.â
the girl steps aside and walks to the cradle.
the guards surge forward.
âI WANT TO SEE HER!â screams the princess. the guards collapse in a shot of ash. âI want to see her,â she whispers brokenly.
the girl inside is like the dawn, blonde and gold and rosy. noisy, too.
âcome now,â she soothes the child, smoothing back a curl. âdo not cry. out of the two of us, i am the more ugly one,â she teases. âyou are my family, you know. my own little sister, wound by the spring petals as i was forged by the burning pools. we are together, in that. they will not understand half-beings such as us. in fact,â she looks up at the court, cracked lips winding into a smile. âi, too, would like to give a gift to the child.â
her parents recoil, but it is too late.
far, far too late now.
âshe will be yours until she finds my tower. on that day, she will learn what has been done, all your great sins against me. i will take her with me, show her the chaos you wrought into our veins by asking the forest for what was not theirs to give. thus, i give you this last promise: if she does not love me, i will give her back.â
and the princess strode from the castle, ripping the stone walls down. only the tower remained.
what happened next was simple, really. it was just the middle and the ending. every story has to have it, as you well know. but the middle and the ending are vague things. you will have to decide what happens.
after all, this was just the beginning.
So one of my favorite things about WALL-E is how, even though it takes place in a future where humans have screwed up the Earth big-time, and weâre living in this impersonal complacency dystopia and everything, all the human characters (or at least the ones we meet at the time of the narrative) are good people.
And like, in that vein, I love Captain McCreaâs arcâhis sense of wonder at discovering the vast, complicated beauty of our Earth; his shift, when his romantic notions are shattered, not to despair but to heroism; the way he takes on the true meaning of what has been a cushy figurehead position, and becomes a real decision-maker and leader.
But another thing that always really catches my attention is the little scenes when WALL-E meets John and Mary. Â WALL-E doesnât look or act like the Axiom robots, so they both react to him with some confusionâbut at the same time, they automatically return his politeness. Â Just by the simple act of exchanging names, they accept WALL-Eâs invitation to engage with him, and they begin to count him as a friend. Â John and Mary donât do anything big to impact the main conflict or anything. Â But it means a lot that when their routines are interrupted by a strange robot, their first impulse isnât to be annoyed or suspicious, but to be friendly and nice without a second thought.
And these positive qualities arenât limited to the humans that have been directly touched by WALL-Eâs eccentricity. Â When the deck tilts in the climactic scene, everyone reaches out and tries to help each other. Â Everyone cheers for the captain when he stands up to AUTO; everyone feels for WALL-E and EVE in their moment of tragedy. Â And everyone seems excited and hopeful about the prospect of returning to Earth and starting something new.
I just really love the optimism in this movie.  I love how the story posits that being kind and caring and curious and brave really is the natural state of humanity, and itâs just that sometimes we need a little push to remind us of that.
Hey everyone! We need your help to create the best party game ever!
Introducing⌠What The Plot?!
How does it work?
1.) Take a Prompt Card.
Ex. âTell us about the time a vampire hit on you.âÂ
2.) You have one minute to bullshit a story.
After the minute is up, the player next to you needs to continue your story and so on.Â
However! There is also a pile of cards each with three words on it. Every turn you draw a card and have to use one of the three words from it in your story. Ex. breadstick, cactus, werewolf.â If you donât use one of the words during your turn, you lose points. If you canât continue the story then you also lose points. And if your story is really awful, other players can play the âBoo Cardâ, causing you to lose a catastrophic amount of points. The player who is not the worst wins!
We have already found a supplier and a distribution center in both the US and Europe. We really want to know what you think. Letâs create this game together and make it the best it can possibly be. Are you in?
Two cousins, Patricia & Daniel, go camping & accidently slip through a wormhole to another planet. Warren here wants to make sure Everything Is Totally Fine and Normal.
Good thing Raleigh is a good friend.
@harristheteddybear YEET
Ok i wanna know why we keep hypin up this moment in IW so damn muchÂ
because literally two seconds later, Thanos leaves Steve knocked the fuck out with one swift punch to the face
meanwhile Tony Stank is on another planet getting moons thrown at him and giving Thanos an actual fight using tech he built himself
like bitch even Thanos was Shookâ˘ď¸ for a moment before he did the stabby stabby which led us to this iconic line where he is talking directly to Tony!
But yâall wanna stay sleepin on Anthony Edward Stark callin him a villain and whatever. Like the behavior he exhibited was Iconic, like the Legend jumped out. And yes, Thanos did look annoyed when he was going up against Steve before getting the last infinty stone but it was probs because Steveâs dumb ass didnt realize that he has two fuckin hands and was just tryna hold Thanosâ hand or some shit idk
TL;DR: Tony Stark doesnt deserve this and Steve needs to step up his titan fighting game
This is late af but congratulations to the winner of the poll, @backlacepistols's narrator! What an absolute icon. Also credits to @supergnome-a and @voidofstarryink for their narrators duking it out in the bg
I spent years just lurking on tumblr but recently Iâve been making TSP content so I guess this is a TSP account now?they/void/ink/star/eye(Always feel free to message me or send in an ask <3)
