"gray, have you seen your sister?" kylie walks into the living room with ellie on her hip and her pregnant belly sticking out, looking over at her daughter who was scrolling on her phone.

grayson looks away from the episode of grey's anatomy she had been watching, shaking her head, "i thought she was with you. i'll go check downstairs with dad."

"thank you." kylie sends her a thankful smile as she sits on the couch, "i would but i'm out of breath."

the black-haired girl lets out a giggle as she heads towards the stairs that lead down to what use to be the basement, but her dad had turned into a room where he had all his podcast equipment set up.

valentines was tomorrow and since trevor was at an away game, her dad has called and asked her if she would come down to philadelphia to watch her sisters so that he could take kylie out for one last date night before bennett, the newest kelce child was born in a few days.

of course, the nineteen-year-old agreed because she absolutely loved her little sister, but because she also wanted to be there wherever kylie had the baby.

"dad? is wy down here?"

"is that my biggest baby?!" travis's voice floated into the room as grayson got closer to where her dad was sitting in his chair, wyatt sat in his lap. "baby k!"

grayson leaned down so she was in camera view, smiling a bright white smile at her uncle, "uncle t!"

"what's up, my beautiful niece?!" travis shared the same smile for the niece that he had not only helped raised but grown up with. a confused look flashed across his face, "shouldn't you be in california to celebrate valentines with little zegras tomorrow?"

"uncle travis!" grayson's eyes grow wide along with his and her dad's, her jaw dropping in disbelief, "please tell me that you can edit that out?"

"uh, no not really." jason shakes his head at his daughter, "today's episode is live. i mean, live live."

"oh, my god." grayson throws her head back before she reaches for wyatt, "c'mon, wy. let's see if we can get uncle trevor to answer his phone and tell him about uncle travy's big mess up."

"i'm sorry, gray." travis has a guilty expression on his face.

"no, it's okay." she sighed, laying her head on top of wyatt's as her little sister rested her head on grayson's shoulder, "it was gonna get exposed sooner or later."

"what's with the droopy face?" kylie questioned as her daughters come back up the stairs, "looks like someone kicked your cat down the stairs."

"uncle travis just exposed my relationship with trevor on their live podcast."

"of course he did."

❝Delilah! Are you riding with us to the game with us? We gotta go now!” Jack calls out to his little sister who was back in Jersey for the weekend to watch him and Luke against the Blackhawks.

“No! Curtis’ wife is gonna pick me up!” She calls through the door of the bathroom where she was still getting ready.

“Okay! Be careful, love you!

“Love you!”

“So, whose jersey are you wearing tonight?” Tate smirks through the face time call the two girls were on.

Delilah playfully rolls her eyes, “I’m wearing Luke’s. They would both kill me if I wore a Blackhawks.”

“Ten bucks, you meet Connor and fall in love.”

“Shut up!” The two girls laugh before Delilah has to hang up.

“Shit, how do I always end up fucking lost?” Delilah mumbles to herself as she walks around the arena, having gone to the bathroom. “Next time, I’m dragging Luke off the ice.”

A chuckle rings out from behind the twenty year old, causing her to turn around the find a player from the Blackhawks.

“Holy shit, dude! You’re Connor Bedard!” Delilah’s eyes grow wide, “Sorry!”

He laughs, a blush faintly appearing on his face, “No, no, it’s okay. I just don’t expect anyone to know who I am. I mean, you’re Delilah!”

“Fuck, you know who I am?” She raised an eyebrow as Connor stares into her bright blue eyes.

“Of course I know who you are! Everybody should!” Connor grinned, “But your going the wrong way if your looking for the seats, it’s the other way.”

“Thank you! Have a good game!” Delilah calls over her shoulder as she rushes in the right direction.

“Nice going, Connor. Celebrity crush right in front of you and you don’t even get her number.” Connor mumbles to himself as he heads to the locker room to get ready, “Dumbass, really.”

Delilah stands next to the Wags and girlfriends of her brother’s teammates, waiting for the two to come out so they could get dinner and go back to the apartment.

“Lilah, we’re having a girls day this weekend, are you in Jersey long enough to come?” Curtis wife turns to the younger girl with a warm smile.

“I can adjust my schedule, I’m supposed to be in Nashville by Tuesday next week to write with a singer that wanted to duet.”

“Okay, just get Jack to text Cu—,”

“Delilah, hey.” Connor rushes towards the singer, out of breath from running so that she didn’t leave before he saw her again. “Hey.”

“Hey.” She giggled, hand instantly going to mess with the ends of her hair, the wags standing next to her smirking at each other at the sight.

“Hey, I was, uh, I was wondering if I could get your number?” Connor, becoming aware of the eyes on him, scratches the back of his neck.

Delilah bits her bottom lip to try to hide the smile fighting its way onto her face as she pulls her phone from her back-pocket, unlocking it with her passcode and trading phones with him.

Meanwhile, coming out of the locker room, the two brothers pause along with Nico and Dawson as they watch the scene in front of them.

“Is she…is she giving him her number?” Luke’s jaw hangs in disbelief as he watches his little sister laughing along with Connor as they exchange phones back.

“She’s flirting with him!” Jack exclaimed quietly.

“How do you know she’s flirting and isn’t just nervous?” Nico asked, his accent thick.

“She’s playing with the ends of her hair.” Both reply together as Luke pulls his phone out and takes a picture.

“Dude, what are you doing?” Dawson laughed at the boy.

“Photographic evidence for when I tell Quinn and she denies it.”

“Bedard! Let’s get it!” Someone calls from the team, causing Connor to look back at them for a second, holding a finger up for them to wait.

“So, I’ll text you later?”

Delilah grinned, “Yeah. Sure.”

“Cool. See you later.”

“Bye.”

“I saw that.”

Delilah jumps as Luke’s voice comes from behind her, “The fuck dude?! Don’t do that shit!”

“I saw that, and I’m telling Quinn.” Luke tells his little sister, waving his phone in the air to show his and Quinn’s messages pulled up.

“Don’t tell Quinn!”

“I’m going to and you can’t deny it ‘cause I have photo proof.” Luke has a smug look on his face.

“Okay.” Delilah shrugged, walking towards where their older brother was talking to Nico. “Guess I’ll just tell Jack who really broke his hockey stick a few months ago.”

“What? Delilah, no!” Luke chases her, “I won’t tell Quinn!”

"Be careful, please!" Kylie's voice carried through the house as Grayson stretched across one of the couches in the living room, Jason stretched out on the other as a random tv show played on the screen.

Wyatt and Ellie's giggle's filling the air, Bennett having gone down for a nap thirty minutes before.

After moving in with Trevor, Grayson decided that she wanted to go back home to stay with her parents and sisters for a few days, especially since her boyfriend was on a road trip with a cluster of hockey games to play.

So far, Grayson had spent time with both Jason and Kyle, even joining her dad and uncle for a new episode of New Heights, and she had spent a lot of her time just being in the presence of her three little sisters who absolutely were thrilled to have their older sister back.

"Hey, Gray." Kylie walks into the living room with a wooden box in her hands, a pretty pink bow wrapped around it, "Your dad and I got you and Trevor a gift. But since he's not here, we just decided to let you open it."

The eldest of the Kelce children looks up at her mother with squinted eyes, looking between her two parents as they had been sharing secretive looks with each other since her plane landed and she was picked up from the airport.

"I'm scared to even open it....neither of you just give either of us a gift for no reason. Especially just out of the blue like this." She's cautious as she takes the neatly wrapped box into her hands, sitting up so that she was sitting on her butt on the couch instead of laying on her side.

Jason playfully rolls his eyes as he turns his attention to his oldest daughter, "Jeez, it's not going to eat you alive, Gracy."

"Hmm, you say that..." Grayson mumbled as she pulls the ribbon from the box, pulling the lid up and freezing as she peered inside, "You're fucking kidding me!"

Inside the box was a pink sweater in Grayson's size with the words "big sister" stitched to the front, along with a few positive pregnancy test and an ultrasound.

"Are you fucking kidding me?!" She's quickly off the couch with the box sitting on the cushion as she stares at her parents in complete shock.

"I wish we were kidding." Jason shakes his head with a sigh, "I'm really out numbered now, five girls. What am I gonna do? At least I have a future son-in-law, hopefully, so I'm not totally alone."

"Yep, you're gonna be a big sister yet again." Kylie smiles softly at her daughter, watching as she lets out a quiet squeal to be mindful of her sleeping baby sister, "We haven't told the girls yet because we wanted to tell you first. Your grandparents and Travis don't even know just yet, but we're gonna call them to let them know."

"Oh my, God." Her bottom lip begins to tremble as she pulls her mother into a hug, the two hugging each other tightly, "Holy shit, another sister."

Jason grinned as he stood up from the couch to wrap both his wife and his first born child into a tight hug.

"Oh! I need to call Trevor and tell him!" Grayson quickly pulls away from her parents, reaching for both the box and her phone before she raced towards the stairs so that she could call her boyfriend in private.

Kylie smiles up at her husband, "Well, she took that better than I thought that she would."

"She took it exactly how I knew she would take it." Jason chuckled, sitting back on the couch, "She loves being a sister."

"Oh, I'm not disagreeing with you on that. She's a great big sister. And Trevor will be a great big brother. All our girls have him wrapped around their fingers.”

Upstairs in her bedroom, Grayson sits criss-crossed on her bed as she waits for the FaceTime call to go through, grinning big as her boyfriend's face finally connected.

"Hey, gorgeous." Trevor grins from his end of the FaceTime, "Hold up...why do you look so happy right now? Should I be worried about some other guy making you smile that way?”

“No….well, I did hang out with Jamie a few times since being here, but no.” She shakes her head before he smiles grows even more. “But no! They’re having another baby!”

Trevor’s eyes grow wide before a smile pulls on his lips, “Another girl for you to train to have all us guys wrapped around your fingers, huh?”

Grayson shrugged with a smirk, “You love us anyway.”

“of course I do, your my girls.”

"I don’t wanna tell him!” Luke stops as the hushed voiced of Emersyn and Jack through the locked door of Jack’s bedroom.

"Why not?! This could be a good thing, and you could end up being my sister in the far future!” The youngest of the Hughes clan tilts his head to the side, face scrunched up in confusion as he walks closer to the door to hear better.

“No, Jack. Quinn is never going to know about my crush on him.”

“Alright! Fine! Your secret is safe with me.”

Hours later, Jack and Emersyn had joined their brother’s and the boys' friends, and everyone had begun to notice how weird Luke was being.

“Luke!” Jack snaps over at his little brother, who was shaking the entire table they were all sat at, a deck of cards passed around all of them.

“Stop shaking the tab—,”

"Emmie has a crush on Quinn!”

Everything falls silent as Emersyn sits frozen in her spot, everyone looking between the girl and the oldest brother.

“Awe, Quinn!”

“The baby has a crush on you!”

Emerysn can feel the tears weld up in her eyes as Quinn’s friends started to tease her.

“Emmie, I don’t like you like that.” Quinn laughed in her direction. “I — You're like my sister. I would never like you as more than that.”

“Em, I’m sorry.” Luke frowns as she stands up and quickly rushes out of the room.

“Nice going, idiot.” Jack scoffed, rushing after his best friend, “Emmie! Emersyn!”

“What?!” Jack stares at his mom in disbelief as Luke and Quinn follow their dad into the lake house.

“What’s going on?” Quinn frowned at the upset look on his brother's face.

“This is your fault!” Jack spins around to look at his younger brother.

“What’s going on?” Jim looks at his wife for the answer to his and his son’s question.

“Claire just called; she says that Emmie decided she was going to California for the summer instead of joining us all here.” Ellen said, “She’s gonna spend the summer with her cousins.”

“If Luke wouldn’t have opened his big mouth last summer and Quinn wasn’t scared to admit that he liked her, then Emmie would be here!” Jack stomped up the stairs and slamming the door to his room shut.

“I’m sorry, Jack.” Emersyn frowns as she sits in the airport with her phone pressed against her ear. “I’m gonna spend another summer in Cali.”

“What? Emmie…is this about—,”

“Yeah.” She sighs, “I can avoid him at school, and around our houses, but I can’t avoid him for three months without thinking about him rejecting my feelings for him. Even if it did happen two years ago.”

Its Jacks turn to sigh, “No, I get it. At least keep me updated. And promise that you’ll call and text me.”

“I will.”

"Love you, Jackie.”

“Have you heard from Emersyn?” Quinn leaned against Jack’s door in the lake house, arms crossed over his chest, “Is she coming this year?”

Jack scoffed, “No. She’s going back to Cali, again. Where she’s been going for the last couple of years.”

“Is she—,”

“No, okay. Don’t. This is your fault and Luke’s.” Jack tells his older brother.

“How is this our faults?”

“Because! It’s Luke’s fault for listening to something that didn’t concern him and telling you about it! And it’s your fault because you embarrassed her in front of all of your little friends you had over! And you know what? I wouldn’t blame her if she didn’t step another foot in this lake house.”

“Maybe I can call her—,”

“Don’t bother.” Jack mumbles as he brushed by him, “She changed her number a year ago.”

“Wait, Emmie’s calling me.” Jack pulls his phone out as he sits around a fire pit with a few friends, putting the phone on speaker. “Hey, Emmie!”

“Jack! You will never fucking believe what just happened the other night!” Emersyn’s excited squeal filled the night air.

Jack laughed at her excitement, “By the sound of it, something crazy happened.”

“Yes! So, Ava and some of her friends took me to this karaoke bar that lets teens in every now and then, and of course they forced me to get up and sing—.”

“As they should have.” Jack cuts her off, “You have the voice of a fucking angel!”

“Thank you! Anyway, so as we’re walking out, I bump into someone and it’s Justin fucking Bieber!” Another squeal leaves her lips, “He goes on about how he’s just walking and head me singing so he had to walk on and check out it. Then he tells me that he wants to sigh me to his label!”

“But, because I’m only 17, I had to call mom and dad! then yesterday, I called Justin, and he automatically signed me to his label!”

“Emmie! That’s amazing!” Jack is smiling so hard his face begins to hurt.

“But that means that I gotta move to California.”

The smile slowly begins to face from Jack’s face before he stands up, taking the phone off of speaker and walks towards the lake house, his voice fading as he talked, “What do you mean you’re moving to California?!”

Quinn stares out at the burning flames in the fire pit, a frown on his face and an unfamiliar feeling of dread deep in his stomach as his brother’s words circled around in his head.

Was Emersyn really going to move to California?

“Do you have everything that you’re taking with you?” Jack sits on the end of Emersyn’s bed as he looks around at the near empty room.

“Yeah, I think so.” The brunette nodded plopped down next to him, laying her head on his shoulder, “It’s weird.”

“Leaving?”

“Yeah, this is the only place I’ve known since I was eight. Now I’m moving out to California.” She sighs, “We haven’t been apart since I started going to California.”

“We’ll have FaceTime, text. And when I’m drafted for hockey, wherever I go, then we can fly to each other.” Jack smiles as he looks at the wall ahead of him. “Are you gonna say goodbye to Luke and Quinn?”

“Luke, yes. Quinn…. I don’t know.” Emersyn frowned. “I’m not embarrassed anymore that he rejected me in front of his friends, I think I’m more hurt over the fact that I’ve been in love with him since before I even knew what love was. And he laughed and brushed it away as if it meant absolutely nothing to him.”

“Emmie, everyone can see that Quinn looks at you more than just a sister. Even then, but he’s been quieter since you stopped coming to the lake house. I think you should say bye to him.”

“Okay.”

She never did.
