isnt it weird to think that Jay, as a character, intentionally makes his voice higher, and im not talking about the voice actor doing that, we already knew that, what im saying is that Jay as a person does. We know this because when they were in the first realm and Jay was loosing his mind a bit and was pretending a piece of wood was a video game, his voice was like an octave lower and it sounded a lot more chill/natural, and ive decided its an intentional choice from the voice actors to make him do that. In everyday conversation, he makes his voice higher because of anxiety and a need to fit into this stereotype hes managed to get himself into of him being the cutesy baby of the group, but at that moment in the first realm when he genuinely just had given up and didnt care, none of that applied anymore.

Like, the best way to explain it would be that I felt empty? I feel so bad for Cole and Zane but I'm glad Cole made peace with the situation. Honestly one of the most memorable fics I've ever read mwah 💖💖💖
