i think yall are just pretending to have an excess of black bile so the doctors will give you more leeches
clean your room
open curtains/windows
take a shower
put on clean clothes
get out of your room a bit
stretch
drink a glass of water
get the hard/important stuff out of the way while you have energy
set some (any!) goals
remember that it is okay to have bad days
literally every aspect of life including just sitting in your room to study becomes more interesting and fun if you pretend you're the main character of a dark academia book and you're busy covering up a murder
Thinking about her.
The university library that has once offered me refuge and motivation, now closed and empty.
i had an interesting dream last night.
i was listening to someone tell a wonderful story set in a fantasy world with magic and talking animals. the world was full of rich colors and vibrant plants that overtook any man made buildings. i don’t remember exactly what the story was about, only that although the main character had known sadness and hardship they were able to overcome and live happily and truly.
i woke up feeling hopeful for the future.
RB IF YOU AGREE
were you a "mud potion, picking up worms with your bare hands and trying to climb every tree you see" weird kid, a "sadistically playing god with your barbie dolls/action figures/plushes" weird kid, or a "devouring entire novels in a single afternoon and then writing wish fulfilment self insert fanfiction for them before you even knew what fanfiction was" weird kid?
i want friends with whom i can visit art galleries and photography collections, exchange monthly book recommendations, take long city walks during the night, drink cheap wine while listening to vinyl records, browse second-hand bookshops, spend all day in little libraries, sit on balconies and take pictures of the evening sky
Angel - Sun Yuan & Peng Yu
“The angel, an old woman in a white gown and with featherless wings, is lying face-down on the ground; maybe sleeping, maybe dead, but certainly immobile and frozen into an all too realistic image. The supernatural being, now nothing more than an impotent creature, can neither carry out any supreme will nor be of any help to those believing in its existence. The angel is true but ineffective; dreams and hopes are sincere yet vain.”
