To Me. Pokespe Steven feels like a character that assumes everything he’s ever “earned” has been handed to him. With no regard for his own achievements or strength. He thinks he does everything by half-measure. Yes he got the regis to the fight, but he died for it. And they ultimately did nothing to stop the fight. Yes he was champion, but only because his friend felt an obligation to his city and ex. Yes he collects rocks. And he technically has rock types. But the other half is steel. It’s always in halves. He can’t commit to one thing or another

Wallace is so fucked up about Stevens death, visions mid-day, nightmares, cold sudden feelings, like the touch of a dead body, and just emotion. He's glad Steven's around, but the shit he saw is damn well engraved in his mind.

This may very well be a stretch, and a spoiler to the end of hoenn pokespe, but so was the first so eh sorry if i spoiled it for anybody, but WHY is it that when Celebi bring our protagonists to a different universe, that Wallace is the only one injured? Maybe Wallace was brought with in a differnt way? One could assume that in said world they succeeded flawlessly without casualty, and only minor injury. But Wallace is way too hurt, with a broken arm, some eye area injury (?) and likely broken ribs. I know its a stretch but I like it.

but still, wallace is one of the most acomplished trainers in the franchise

so it hurts to see him not have an alt yet :(
