Did I spend almost $30 on a probably overpriced full art Steven card? Yes, I did. am I going to put it next to my full art Wallace card and make a page in my binder dedicated to originshipping? Yes, I am. Do I have a problem? Probably, but I'm happy ^_^

Maybe he felt overworked?

With so many jobs, he probably deserved time off.

Something I find very interesting about Oras Wallace is that he says he used to, in years past, take place in contests. But not anymore... (Well. Not until that master rank beauty w/ Lisia. Which after he says he may consider again).

But still. How long ago, why may he have stopped, and what was his time in that spotlight like?

(of course, we can look to the anime about that, but still. Anime isn't quite the games.)

I see Pokespe Steven brainrot on my dash 👀 Yeah that whole plot makes me insane too fr, good posts, good posts. It is literally so unfair how Steven drops in the middle of Wallace saying they won, that it was over 😩 and Steven can't even finish saying, "that's grea-" before he collapses, he was just sort of nodding along before to Wallace's words, probably hearing them through a haze, I wonder if it truly sunk in, there's not enough time for the reality of everything you've been through and that it was over, you won, to truly come crashing with that relief, you need a moment of peace for that reflection. How Wallace tries desperately to shake him awake only to be met with unseeing eyes with a thousand yard stare, the scream that tore through the pages, how Steven's eyes are closed when we next see him, Wallace must've closed them for him. How the thought, "by the time this is over, I would have reached the end of my life's journey" exists, I want to grab Steven and shake him over that, how long has he been holding and haunted by what he felt was an inescapable fate, a slow death he had come to accept and each agonizing second of it's future memory festering within him like a dark cloud of depression, hacking away at his spirit little by little and all he could do was watch and live through it.

SO!!!! FUCKING!!! TRUE!!!!! AND STEVEN NOT SEEING HIMSELF AS WALLACE’S EQUAL DESPITE HIM SAYING IT TO HIS FACE….

WALLACE NEVER SEEING IT COMING, AND HAVING TO TRY TO FIGHT THROUGH THE GRIEF IN ORDER TO MAKE REGISTEEL COOPERATE AND TRY TO HELP THE CAUSE. STEVEN COLLAPSING INTO THE OCEAN AND WALLACE HOLDING HIM THERE!!!! AS THE WATER TYPE SPECIALIST!!! CAN YOU IMAGINE THE GUILT??? THAT YOUR SPECIALTY, YOUR CRAFT, YOUR HOME, IS ONE OF THE THINGS THAT KILLED SOMEONE YOU LOVED???

SCREAMS!!!!!! I JUST. I ALSO THINK SOMETIMES ABOUT WALLACE GETTING PLAGUED WITH VISIONS ABOUT THIS. A TIMELINE THAT NO LONGER EXISTS BUT WAS REAL. AND MAYBE. SOMEHOW. STEVENS BLOOD IS STILL WITHIN THE OCEAN, SOMEWHERE.

My Order of prints from the very talented @cuteskitty came in! And I'm absolutely in love ^_^ I finally was able to get my frames so I could hang them up, and my Steven and Wallace wall is looking amazing 😍 Anyway Definitely check out their page, their art is amazing and it always makes me happy to see artists who appreciate Wallace because we all know the pokemon company doesn't appreciate him so thank you again! ^_^
