ooh ooh i got another one,,, what if adrien learns that both of his parents died due to miraculous and he then has a lowkey fear of anyone using them and slowly stops participating in hero stuff (even when lila/cerise shows up to wreck their peace) and publicly speaks of his newfound distaste of the miraculous
miraculous ladybug au where chloe continues to be redeemed and acts as queen bee and was there for chat noir as he began to feel neglected, leading to the two to become closer,,, chat noir finds out alya knows ladybug’s identity and so he decides to trust chloe with his and it causes tension between the titular heroes (misunderstood/no romantic rivalry; i have always seen adrien and chloe’s relationship as purely platonic/familial)
the moon’s best mom 🌙
welp the people have spoken; i already have an idea as to how it's going to play out so we'll cross that bridge when we get there :p
i am consulting tumblr regarding a fic i am writing bc i am not sure,,,, im good at identifying socially acceptable whatever but i wanna be totally sure since i want to portray them as super duper close without going into weird territory!!!
i want there to be a scene wayyyy later in the story at prom where dip’s been kinda hovering over/worried about mabel and the two talk about it ; think kinda dustin and nancy from sts2
soooooo…
Dawg it is not that deep, let people feel comfortable in how they feel about chihiro and their character. Respect others and they'll respect you 💀
people can have headcanons and stuff and get comfort in that- i completely understand that; but don’t insist that he’s canonically trans- because he’s just not. if that’s your headcanon, that’s fine if it works. it becomes a problem when it starts to bleed into his characterization and personal story. he’s a kid who was relentlessly bullied to the point where he had to pretend he was a girl just to feel safe in his daily life, but constantly wanted to become stronger and “be a man”. that’s why he went to mondo. mondo was the strong man he’d always wanted to be. the headcanon wouldn’t be an issue if it didn’t directly conflict with his story and character growth.
inherently, it’s not a bad headcanon and can work as a great allegory to resonate with. it just makes me upset when people don’t seem to understand chihiro’s story and/or misinterpret it or straight up ignore it for the sake of their headcanon.
i get that it’s fiction and that it literally means nothing in the grand scheme of the things, but the kill counts are supposed to go over canon things and it’s just misinformation to call chihiro “they”. you can acknowledge the discourse about it, but don’t feed into it and call him what he is.
so anyway
