It really was
Hey I didn't want to take away from all these good additions but I'd like to point out another YA dystopian series where the government is actually bad (essentially I'm answering tanginerinefemme's challenge). The first book is called Legend (series simply named the Legend series), and it's written by Marie Lu (a poc women author)! Legend has a lot cliches in it including a love triangle, although it's not as centralised as other series like twilight. The romance of the story is very prevalent, but it adds to the book because the first mc comes from a poor background and the second mc comes from a rich one.
A basic synopsis of the book, the US has split into two countries and are at war. Day (first mc) is a criminal who goes against the corrupt Republic of America. He becomes the prime suspect when June's (second mc) brother is murdered, and she is sent to find and arrest him. I recently reread them and noticed that the two separate America's each represent an extreme of the current American system. The one that most of the story takes place in is centric to the military, and the other is centralized around capitalism. In general it tackles a lot of issues and has many underlying themes, and it's just a great series, I highly suggest it
not to be all “tw*light did nothing wrong” but misogyny honest to god killed the hunger games
I was thinking about the DM is God thing, but also consider: the people are characters being played by the angels like David AND of course Satan is there too

i don’t wanna carry my jacket anymore when i get hot
Y’all realize that dude totally stole that idea right?
guys, uhhhh, I might have a girlfriend. what do I do?
Family gathering.
Ah but you forgot this anime, where this dude wears a dress because he said he would if his friend didn’t get asked to this dance. And almost immediately afterward she and him plus 2 of their other friends went into an awesome dance routine
really love men in dresses but so much ‘anime men in dresses’ art seems to do it as a humiliation thing w the dude being all embarrassed and that’s not what im here for man. that’s not what I want. dudes confidently wearing dresses and looking baller is the good content.
Just checked my follower count because I can do that apparently, why are there 30+ of you here? I thought there was maybe 5 of you, how did this happen? I don't understand
When you watch a show that's giving you all kinds of feels so you wanna stop watching but you gotta keep going and suddenly you hate yourself and the show but love it at the same time
I don’t know how else to describe what you’re gonna see here, it’s just random stuff
