If anybody is interested in Chinese folklore, here you go!
Have all the old scans I have of stories from my chinese literature, folklore, and popular culture class.
It's free university lol. Unfortunately a lot of it we read straight from the main book we had (Ma and Lau, ed. Traditional Chinese Stories: Themes and Variations), which had a lot of interesting things in it (like the whole genre of snake women and related stories that are mentioned in the final PDF, but which I unfortunately have no stories for), and it is now in storage, nowhere near me, and I therefore cannot scan any of it (Actually, it's possible i even left it behind when i was getting rid of things to move? /: idk. Guess I'll find out at some point). If you're interested in more Chinese folklore and can get your hands on a copy, though, I suggest it; your local library might have it! But anyway, what I can give you is these PDFs!
Gonna split this into 2 sections for clarity (and turns out I'm gonna have to do the second part in a reblog because of the link limit. Sigh. May as well section off the first part too)
Looking for Hualian Birthday Cafe Co-Hosts!
I'll be hosting another cafe event in Toronto this summer to celebrate Hua Cheng and Xie Lian's birthdays, and wanted to check if any fans in other North American cities would be interested in co-hosting!
No previous cafe event hosting experience is required, though it'd be helpful if you have experience related to any sort of event planning! I'm also happy to help give guidance and answer questions if this is your first try at hosting! Please do note that because freebies and decorations do cost money, there could be $100 to $250 CAD in out-of-pocket costs to the host for running this kind of event.
The designs for the freebies have already been set and there should be enough time for the freebies for your event to be made + sent to you by late June or early July. So if you're interested in bringing a cafe event to your local danmei community, feel free to email me and we can discuss details!
P.S. If there are any hosts from Vancouver who can host on either July 12 or 13, 2025, I may be able to bring you any leftover freebies from the Toronto event to help a bit with the freebie costs!

Got posca pens finally!! So I did a small test in the front of my tiny sketchbook to test how it goes over coloured paper! Of course I had to draw scara pookie!
Middle school Bakugou meeting middle school Shouto and both instantly hate each other. Both have anger and easily tempered. Even tho they don’t attend the same school, they always see each other in different areas and that’s where fights start.
Then one day he sees Shouto with his father, and ofc it’s the number 2 hero. Bakugou scoffs and is about to call Shouto out for being a brat when he sees his father hit him. No one but him sees it. Shouto does nothing but takes it and he’s emotionless as always.
But Bakugou knows betters. He can tell Shouto is seething with anger in the inside. And for the first time, he feels like blowing someone that isn’t Shouto. Sadly his new target is untouchable for now. Bakugou starts keeping an eye on Shouto and actually tones down his temper to get to know him. Surprisingly, Shouto is an alright guy. Slowly, Bakugou ends up crushing on him and Shouto does the same. Enemies to friends to lovers
