There are some aspects about having Tom locked permanently that I hadn't considered before. For one thing, I no longer worry about his satisfaction - not in a cruel way but in the sense that now all of his pleasure comes from pleasing me. I don't have to feel guilty thinking that he's been locked up too long and needs a release. And since he is only allowed to come in his cage, if he's horny enough he will do that anyway.
