He took care of Megumi, noticed that the kid was all by himself and placed Yuji in the next room so he wasn't lonely, fought for Yuta, supported Maki, trusted Inumaki with high performance missions, gained himself a lot of enemies to be able to save Yuji and then he trained him carefully. I mean, sure the guy is an idiot, but he really is a dedicated teacher and nobody can convince me otherwise.

Satoru and Suguru looking at plants at a store. Script is as follows... Satoru asks Suguru, "Hey, isn't it a little late to be planting?" Suguru answers, "No, it's fine." Satoru asks "How many do you already have?" and Suguru answers "Eh, about 20." Satoru is surprised.

Satoru and Suguru are now walking home with the plants Suguru bought. Script is as follows... Satoru asks "How do you take care of that many?" Suguru answers "They're not too hard to look after." Satoru is surprised. "Really?" He says, "I'm not that great with pets." Suguru is curious. "You've had a pet?" He asks. "I've never seen one at your place." Satoru answers, "Yeah, I had a hermit crab for three days. It ran away." Suguru is in awe at his carelessness.

They have arrived at Suguru's balcony, where the setting sun has bathed everything in orange light. Satoru is admiring Suguru's collection of various houseplants. "Wow Suguru, this is beautiful!" Satoru exclaims. Suguru is bashful, thanking him. Satoru continues, "Sunset's beautiful too... the plants must love it." Suguru answers, "Oh yeah, These ones love the sunlight." Satoru pauses before continuing, asking "You know who else is beautiful?" Suguru answers "Me?", referring to himself. Satoru replies with "Yeah."

Suguru and Satoru are sharing a futon, and Suguru is cuddling Satoru close to his chest, even though Satoru is fairly tall. They are getting ready to sleep. Satoru asks sleepily, "Suguru... Am I easy to take care of?" Suguru smiles and replies "Yeah, easy to love, too." His words are full of love. Satoru replies "So are you." with equal amounts of love and conviction. They are content and sleepy and happy together.
