Another stupid throwback from this week's episode but sadly only sketches today :(
I can see four things happening
1. They all died.
2. The Bad Batch “died” but they really went into hiding, but Echo still has a strong connection to Rex and I have a feeling Echo wouldn’t just disappear on his captain. Echo might think Rex “died” as well and he doesn’t feel the need to be with his old battalion anymore.
3. The Bad Batch died but Omega might still be alive but she chooses to be on her own after her family died.
4. The clone rebellion is obliterated (because it’s Star Wars. We only get pain)
This might be the reason why Rex is the way we first see him in Rebels
I also have a theory/feeling that we’ll see Caleb Dume (Kanan Jarrus if he changed his name by them) in season 3 (possibly with Hera and Chopper). When Kanan talks about Order 66, he says, “… then came for me, later they said they had chips in their head that made them do it, said they had no choice.” So Hunter, Echo, and Wrecker might be with Crosshair at that time.
Ok so I’m rewatching rebels to prepare for Ahsoka and I got to the clones episode
And this line stood out to me:
Ik Rex is probably talking about all the clones, but I’m paranoid he means the Bad Batch too…
I love this already!!
Part one of that master swap au I said I’d do a while back, this one is the start so its master Dooku with his padawan Ahsoka
Obi-wan: “Anakin, spinning is not the same as flying.”
Anakin: “But it’s a good trick.”
“Twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom!”
“When you throw caution to the wind, and take chances…where is he?”
“Right beside me.”
I made two more, and probably gonna make more once I’m done with all commissions (and once uni is finally over lol)
Wolffe and Plo
Cody and Obi-Wan
I looked up and time slowed down as I saw him standing there.
His tall body looked skinnier than the last time I saw him, he looked like he was about to fall over from either relief or exhaustion. His head was still balled and the scar on the side of his head looked all healed up. He eyes had deep dark circles underneath his eyes. He was wearing dark grey clothes and they looked worn. He had small holes in his shirt and the cuff of his pants were torn but at least he was wearing shoes. He looked so vulnerable and so small.
I dropped whatever I was holding and ran to him, my brother Crosshair. The last time I had seen him was on Kamino. All the anger and frustration I have built up for him over the past couple of months, melted away as I tackled him with the biggest embrace I ever gave, tightening my grip to make sure I wasn’t dreaming.
My vision blurred from the tears building up in my eyes. He was here, this is him. I closed my eyes and buried my head in his shoulder.
For a second I thought Crosshair would have pulled away from my hug, like he usually would after a few seconds, but instead I felt two arms wrapping around my back. I felt his grip tightening as well, like he couldn’t believe he was here.
I could tell he was forcing himself to breathe from the way he shuddered.
I wanted to ask him where he was, what he was doing and why he looked like he’d just come from a living nightmare but all I could say was, “You’re home…. don’t worry, you’re safe. You’re safe now.”
Linkin Park – Not Alone.
... with arms up, stretched into the sky,
with eyes like echoes in the night...
hiding from the hell that you've been through,
silent one, you...
go, giving up your home,
go, leaving all you've known...
you go, giving up your home,
go, leaving all you've known,
you are not alone.
