I am a heavy-duty roleplayer, which meant that in the days of console play, before I got into modding on PC, I once dragged a bear corpse down from the Rift to Windhelm as a threat to Ulfric Stormcloak. It took ages but it felt just right for this somewhat unstable Dragonborn with the poor decision making choices. She was a Stormcloak too, and was mad at him that day.
What quests and objectives have you all created for yourselves in these games?

Please take a moment to read this. A Canadian company wants to build a sulfide copper mine near Lake Superior, which holds 21% of the world’s freshwater. The mine would produce 98.5% toxic waste, stored in a dam just two miles from the lake. The dam can only withstand a 1-in-100-year storm, but the area has had two 1-in-1,000-year storms in the past decade. If it breaks, toxic water could flood the lake. Copper sulfide mines in the U.S. have consistently contaminated nearby water sources, and this mine could hurt local communities with lower employment, income, and property values. The company wants $50 million in taxpayer funding to move forward. The Michigan Senate is about to vote, if they don’t get the funding they can’t build it.

This is a not-read-more version of that one Kakashi song I drew. I’m a little bored, so I’ll make this version, just for fun. Long post warning.

Y’all this one has taken me like 4-5 days so some appreciation would be nice 😊
Naruto is right, and I hate how it’s resolved/brushed over with “being a jinchuriki is fine if you are filled with love” like. Okay emotionally perhaps that solves a problem, makes it bearable, but it doesn’t do anything about the politics creating this suffering in the first place. Nobody should even be in this situation. People, kids, should not be experimented on and turned into weapons of mass destruction for the sake of maintaining a balance of power between other nations. That’s fucked up and needs to go, and even if Naruto won’t get angry on his own behalf, he recognizes that this is wrong. He projects on and gets angry for other people. He KNOWS. But then?? Kushina says it’s okay because she’s loved?? And it was okay of Minato to do that to Naruto because it was out of love?? When it wasn’t for love but for politics?? Kushina wanting to die to spare Naruto a fate of loneliness and pain is an act of love. Minato sealing the nine-tails inside Naruto to keep Konoha strong is not. And, from a character standpoint, that’s fine if Minato is not exempt from propaganda and brainwashing. It’s more interesting if he’s NOT a perfect person or father. But he’s not condemned for this decision. Kushina is glad that Naruto doesn’t resent her or Minato for turning him into a jinchuriki, when he has every right to, and this is the resolution to this debacle, I guess. I’ve no idea if this is ever brought up again. Does Naruto think what was done to him and so many others is still wrong? I understand that it’s bad to hold on to rage and hatred, but letting go of that and moving on doesn’t mean you have to forgive what was done to you, and it shouldn’t mean it’s OK for this to happen again. Naruto, the series and character, is always so close to holding the corrupt system and political figures accountable for this crap and then just doesn’t.
You know, as great as all the new DC movie releases are and as much as I look forward to all of it… I really just want a movie for each of the Batman Rogues…
I’m bordering on craving it. Like, can you imagine a well made Poison Ivy film, showing her as both Pamela Isley and her villain counterpart…. or a non over the top Scarecrow movie revolving around his life in Arlen, Georgia fighting his onslaught of fears… Just imagine. What about a Mad Hatter film, showing how Tetch slowly lost himself to his work and to his own personal wonderland? Or how Riddler went from an extravagant young man to a deadly villain? Like I said, tonnes of films about super heroes and their heroics is all well and good, but I would REALLY like is a good ol’ sympathetic series for each of the Rogues.
>random guy in shit tier iron armor shows up one day saying a dragon is burning down a city >don’t know why the guards let him in >figure I can throw another body at my court wizard so I shuffle him over >Comes back with arrows sticking out of his body and holding the tablet out for my court wizard like its nothing >Hear reports someone killed literally every bandit, rat, wolf, and rabbit between here and the spot he was sent >I now need to get this pain immune lunatic murderer out of my city. >Dragon shows up >Ohthankthegods >Send the guy out on a suicide mission to kill a dragon >End of my worries >He comes back, apparently having killed the dragon and eaten its soul >According to reports just stood there and let the dragon burn him while chugging addictive and dangerous health potions he made himself. >Now standing in front of me eating an entire bushel of apples, two loaves of bread, and an entire side of beef while everyone looks on in horror and disgust >Need to get him away from my children as fast as possible >Tell him he needs to climb the tallest mountain in Skyrim and stay with the Graybeards >He leaves without a word >Hopefully thats the last I’ll see of him.
