– honestly, it would be rare for him to even be fully interested in anyone given his affiliation to the league

– all his life, he’s known of temporary things and people

– until, that is, he meets you

– at first, he thinks you’re temporary, that you would eventually leave at one point

– at the beginning of your relationship, he’s quite distant???

– like, he’s there but not there at the same time

– if that makes sense

– he keeps his distance

– not only because he isn’t quite used to the idea of romance

– but also because he’s scared, which he denies even to himself

– how could someone like him be with someone like you?

– the fact that he has someone worth losing scares him to the bone

– it takes him awhile to fully grasp the fact that you love him genuinely

– by awhile i mean a few months

– but yes, once he gets over his initial doubts of himself with constant assurance, you can bet your ass he’s going to be on you

– he’ll gradually start opening up by his own pace

– little by little, he starts showing affection through subtle touches
