Of course he does.
Again, maybe she should be scared. Maybe she shouldn't be staying here and responding to his laugh with a chuckle of her own. Maybe she should just leave and leave the world saving situation to the Champion.
"Kind of expected that, yeah!"
Her PokèBall was thrown in the air one last time before she finally released her Sylveon, who laaaazily stretched as soon as he landed on the battlefield-to-be. So calm.
"Try to be at least a little bit better than your grunts, okaaaay?"
@whereskymeetsea // Gameverse: "I think this went on for long enough, yeah?" For someone her age, who just ripped through an entire evil base, Sapphire seemed way too calm. She beamed with the pride only a teenager could have, a PokèBall tossed in the air just to get caught once more in her left hand, the right on her hips. "What will it be, captain? Do you want to quit the easy way or the fun way?:
Her being here meant one single thing. His entire base got wiped.
And yet, he's grinning. No, laughing. His laughter bellows through the room, despite his grunts and admins being unable to fight. He's the last hurdle now. The only one who can protect this plan of his.
"Ya think so? But it was jus' gettin' fun!" Archie reaches for his belt clip. "O' course we're doing this the fun way! Who do ya take me fer??"
sapphire if youre water-coded why did you choose the fire type starter
"birb"
Well, that was easy.
It's always fun to run into big legendary Champions out of the blue. They're all the same: chill and cool with battles, and ready to have a little bit of fun. At least, as long as nobody was there to watch. Sapphire would've loved to have an audience, but when it came to some big boy like Red it was much better to have as little distractions as possible.
And as little stuff to destroy as possible.
"Neat-o."
Message loud and clear. We're battling, folks! We're playing all the toys we want. A hand went to her pockets as the other kept playing with her own Pokèball, waddling away to make sure they'd have enough space for their Pokèmon to have all the space necessary to have fun.
"Got any preference, buddy? Like, can I use Megaevos? Six Pokes or do we go one on one?"
@whereskymeetsea "Heyyy bucko. Heard you're a big deal, yeah?" She knows who he is. And she's sure he knows who she is. She's holding a pokeball in her hand. "Wanna play toys with me?"
Oh, he knows exactly who she is. Who wouldn’t? The stories ran wild together with his own, and going missing for three years don’t make them disappear. He recovered all the missing pieces one day he tentatively went to the town’s library - old newspapers kept as relics, and read all in a single hour by him. You simply can’t not know who Sapphire is.
And he’s so glad they happened in the same place at the same time.
Just seeing her makes a chill of excitement run down his spine - and seeing her hold a Pokéball sends another one, a much needed smile appearing on his lips. Wanna play toys with me? she asks, and his reply is as silent and as clear as he’s ever been: he takes out a Pokéball from his own belt, throws it up in the air, and catches it again with a firm grip. Oh, he loves playing toys.
Oh he barely had the time to SAY IT! As soon as she was given the okay, she already opened the first dice roll app she could find and--
"Johto it isssss apparently.
Traditional towns, biiiig mountain, mysterious cave full of alphabet soup. Sounds right up your alley!"
Alright then. They were doing this. Against his better judgement perhaps, but sometimes, not listening to that little voice in his head that told him to do as he should, was a lot more fun.
"...Go on ahead! Let's see where we're travelling to!"
@tapuhauko
Stares. He senses something about her.
She barely got off the ship from Hoenn to Alola, a lollipop in her mouth, her phone ( with Poogle Maps open ) in one hand, the other in her pockets. It takes her a few seconds to realize someone is staring, to which she slowly looks up, pops the candy out of her mouth and waves.
"'sup dude."
Sheeeeee's quite sure she saw them in the past. Some news about Kahunas or something? Welp. She's waving.
