There’s a crawling sensation under your skin that hasn’t let up for days. Your flesh feels foreign and ill fitting, leaving you constantly agitated and on edge. The feeling came upon you so suddenly, so aggressively, that you’re left floundering desperately for answers, unable to eat or rest. 

Part of you knows that it’s connected to what happened that night three weeks ago, knows that there is something there that is glaringly obvious. You wish you could remember anything about that night, but there’s nothing there, as if the memory had been ever so neatly snipped off and stolen away.

Finally, you can bear it no more, body trembling with restless energy as you scoop up your coat and keys. There’s no one around to stop you at this time of night, and you quickly start a determined pace, heading to the one place that you hope you will find answers, the last place you can remember before everything fell away.
