I hear the shower running, I stretch out my arms and legs, my body feeling cold without Nicks touch. Slowly I stand up and walk to the bathroom opening the door slowly, Nick is already inside the shower, I look at his back and wide shoulder and gulp. I close the door behind me slowly and take off his shirt entering slowly the shower with him.

"You took some time." he whispers turning around and facing me.

"Sorry, the bed was too comfy." he nods and grabs my face caressing it. The water is hot and the steam is fogging the mirrors.

"It's okay." Nick grabs my waist, pulling me against him, my chest touches his chest and the water runs down my body, making me feel warm. He leans in and kisses me with passion, slowly, seductively.

I wrap my hands around his neck, playing with his damp hair. The hot water helps making my head feel dizzy and my body warm, wanting to be closer and closer to Nick.

"I need you." I confess between kisses.

"I know." He whispers back.

While you wait for them to record in the parking lot you hang out in the outside tables of one of the restaurants while snacking until an old friend sits next to you and starts talking/flirting to you. ‘’I think we’ll take 50 minutes to 1 hour; I don’t want you to get bored or anything, maybe you should have stayed at our house.’’ Nick is grabbing my hand, standing outside some restaurant that I don’t know, from the target that its besides Matt and Chris come out with cans of soda, bags of chips and some funny hats in hand. I laugh and squeeze Nick’s hand a bit.

‘’It’s all right, I’ll wait for you here. Plus, I have to eat, I’ll be fine, don’t worry it’s just a few minutes.’’ I give him a kiss on the cheek as Chris and Matt stop walking when they are standing besides us.

‘’All right, time to record.’’ Matt says.

‘’It will be just a few minutes Nick, you won’t die for being 5 minutes away from you boyfriend.’’ Chris smiles and pokes Nicks arm. Nick slaps his hand and tells him to shut up.

‘’I’ll be back as soon as we finish and we can buy a few snacks and maybe a plushie on target for our sleepover, and you can think on what movie or series you want to watch.’’ He gives me a quick kiss on the lips and starts walking to the van with his brothers while waving at me.

I sit down at the tables that are outside the restaurant and star eating from the french fries I ordered, as I take a picture of the fries and my drink besides it to post it later someone walks out of the target with a bag and walks straight to me.

‘’Hello.’’ he says and I look up from my phone to see my friend from high school Max who I haven’t seen in a few years.

‘’Oh god, hi. How are you? How have you been?’’ I smile at him as he sits besides me.

‘’All good, I got into the university I wanted, I got a part time job. Everything is amazing, how about you?’’

‘’That’s awesome. I am doing good too, life has been really fun lately.’’ I smile.

‘’Yeah, he is Max, an old friend from school’’ Nick looks at him up and down as I the both of us stand up.

‘’I’m his boyfriend.’’ Max smirks and looks up at Nick since he’s taller a few inches.

‘’All right, good bye.’’ I wave at him as he walks away. ‘’How was the recording?’’ I smile at Nick and put my hand in his shoulder. He is still frowning and his arms are still crossed.

‘’Fine.’’ He walks to the target and I follow him closely. I tried to make talk with him and grab his hand or arm but he gave me short answers or told me he needed to carry the bags.

We walk to the van, sit at the back and Nick puts his earpods on. I look at Matt and Chris from the mirror, and I ask them quietly if something happened and they said no. I’m on my phone the rest of the ride home and when we arrive Nick rushes to his room.

‘’Is he okay?’’ Chris asks me and I shrug my shoulders.

‘’I don’t know, I’ll talk to him.’’ I smile warmly at him and say good night to Matt and Chris. I walk to Nick’s room and knock on his door twice.

‘’Come in.’’ I open the door and see Nick sitting on the bed already wearing more comfortable clothes and scrolling in his phone. I close the door behind me and sit beside me.

‘’Nick, honey. Is everything okay?’’ he lets out a sigh and puts his phone in the night table.

‘’No. I mean, you didn’t told him you have a boyfriend? You didn’t told him I was you boyfriend’’

I was laying on Nicks bed waiting for him to come back, he and his brothers went out to record a car video maybe two hours ago. Nick has been working a lot lately, he has been sleeping late and eating less, so as his boyfriend I came by more often to make sure he is taking care of himself. Tonight, I’m sleeping in so he doesn’t sleep at 4 am and wakes up at 8 for a reunion.

After a while I get a message from Nick saying that he is coming back. I smile at my phone and send him a picture of me laying on his bed and a message that red ‘waiting for you’. So, I waited, maybe 20 or 25 minutes and I heard the front door open and faint voices on the kitchen and living room, I hear Nick telling them to go to sleep and his steps growing louder as he walks to his room, when he opens the door, he lets out a big sigh and kicks his shoes out.

“Hi, how was the recording?” I ask standing up and walking to him, I put both of my hands on his chest and move them up to his shoulders and massage them.

“Very tiring.” I nod as I help him take of his shirt and unbuckle his belt. “Maybe it’s because I haven’t been sleeping good lately.” I nod and lead him to the bed, where he sits and I grab the pajamas that I prepared for him right after he left. “And also, Matt and Chris have been insufferable lately, like, leave me alone.” I hum as I put the comfy shirt over his shoulders and pull it down his chest when he puts his arms throw the holes. “I want to sleep.”

“I know, let’s sleep.” I kiss his cheek lovingly.

“But I wanna spend time with you. I have been so busy lately.” He puts the pajama pants on and scoots over so he is sitting with his back against the bed frame.

“It’s okay, if you are tired and need to rest you don’t need to force yourself to stay awake.” I sit besides him and hug him by the shoulders, my hand pushing his head to my shoulder and playing with his hair.

“Tell me about your day.” He whispers and closes his eyes.

“Well, today I woke up a bit later than usual so I had to go to a cafeteria closer to my uni to get my daily coffee. It was good, a bit sweeter than I’m used to but I still liked it.” I hear him hum softly. “Wanna lay down?” I whisper and he nods. So, I lay and his sleepy eyes watch me as I pat my chest softly. “Come here.” Nick smiles weakly and lays besides me, his head on my chest, I continue playing with his soft hair and keep talking. “Then I went to my classes, which were kinds easy today, I also ate with my friends in that Mexican restaurant near the park, we should go there, the guacamole is delicious.” I hear him hum again, his eyes ate closed and his arms are wrapped around me, I know he’s fighting back his sleep. “Then we went back for our final classes, the professor for our last class canceled and we went to buy a few things for Jay’s birthday. Then I went to buy the slushie I brought for you.” I can’t hear him humming or nodding anymore, his breath is slower, he fell asleep. I smile and kiss his forehead. “Good night.”

“Why did you buy all of this?” I ask my sister while looking at the chocolates, drinks and chips on the kitchen counter. “Are you having friends over?”

“Yeah, I’m having a sleepover with some friend. I told mom to tell you.” She talks while texting someone on her phone.

“Oh, cool. She didn’t told me anything, who’s coming anyway?” I look at her, I don’t raise my head, just my eyes. She looks up from her phone.

“The people that always comes, you can have all the snacks you want, just don’t bother us a lot.” I pout and nod.

“Understood.” I grab a small pack of gummies and go to my room. It has been a while, it’s night already, I hear people talking and laughing on the living room, my sister has a lot of ‘girlfriends’, of course she also has a lot of guy friends but they don’t come to the sleepovers… except for one, Nick. Nicolas is fun, I like him, he is very kind to me and I really like his style. I hear his laugh, it’s loud and it makes my cheeks grow red, I’m so dumb but I can’t help it, he’s just so handsome and has pretty eyes, he also brings snacks for me sometimes so I kinda like him. The fact that I know he is gay doesn’t help, because I think I might have a tiny chance with him.

I sit on my bed scrolling on my phone and panic texting my friends that Nick is here and that I might die if I see him. So, I wait for the noise to come down, I hear them go into my sisters’ room at around 12:40, I go out to see if they left any snacks and to grab some water. As I walk past my sisters’ room, I can hear the muffled music and their gossiping, I roll my eyes and keep walking to the kitchen, it was dark and a bit cold. I turn on the lights and go to the fridge, I smile when I see my favorite chocolate right in front of me, I take it out and turn around smiling at myself.

“I see you found my gift.” Nick is standing in the door frame, his arms crossed over his chest, his hair a bit messy and with his pajamas on. I gulp and my cheeks blush a bit.

“I didn’t knew you bought it, thank you.”

“It’s nothing.” He says and walks over to me. “So, how have you been?” he leans on the counter and watches as I fill my bottle with water.

“I’m fine, hm, how about you?”

“I have been good, thanks for asking. Why weren’t you with us while watching the movie?” I turn around and put my filled bottle water on the counter right besides the chocolate.

“Well, I, I don’t know. I didn’t feel like it.” He hums, and I look away from him. Suddenly I feel small, his taller body making me feel tiny, his crossed arms showing off his big arms and broad shoulders. I try not to stare too much, key word = TRY.

“Interesting, you used to love watching movies with us. You love horror movies, don’t you?” I nod. “Well, at least you love curling up to me.” he grins and my eyes widen a bit.

“No, I-“ he talks over me.

“It’s okay, I like it.”

“Oh… cool. I don’t know what to say.” Nick unfolds his arms and walks slowly to me; I start taking tiny steps backwards until my lower back hits the counter. “Nick.”

“Yeah?”

“What are you doing?” he leans down a bit, one of his hands besides my body to cage me in, his other hand on my cheek.

“Nothing, just looking at you.” The tip of his nose lightly touches mine. “I really like your shirt, is it the one I gave you and your birthday?” he laughs a bit and I feel my cheeks burn.

“Nick, what if someone comes looking for you?” my chest feels heavy, my heart is beating fast.

“Let them.” he leans in, his soft lips touch mine for a few seconds. “I’m sorry, was that all right?”

My brain exploded, I can’t imagine how red I am right now, I nod quickly and put both of my hands on his chest. “Yes. I- Can you… please, kiss me again.’’ I see him grin, he kisses me again, this time it was longer, I wrap my arms around his shoulders and play with his hair, the hand that was previously on the counter goes to my waist. His lips move slowly and gracefully, it would be a lie if I said I know how to kiss, I am trying my best. I lean back a bit, looking up at his eyes.

“I wanted to tell you something.” He whispers. “I-“

“NICK!! COME HERE, CARLIE IS GOING TO CALL JAMES!!” Nick rolls his eyes when we hear the loud voice of my sister come down the hall.

“I’m sorry, I have to go. But, how about we go out tomorrow? Just the two of us.’’

“Like, a date?” it’s the first time I see him blush. He looks so handsome with his cheeks turning pink.

“Yeah, like a date. Sorry I have to go, I’ll text you” He gives me a quick kiss and fast walks to my sisters room, when I hear the door close, I let out a high-pitched scream and cover my face. God, what the fuck just happened? I think I’m dreaming.
