The movie played unnoticed on the background while Nicks mouth was pressed against mine, his lips softly moving against mine, my hands playing with the strings of his hoodie and his hands pulling me in by my hair.

It has been a while since his brother went to their rooms, we decided it would be fun to watch a movie on the couch, but Nick grew bored of the movie fast and wanted to make out.

‘’WOW, not on the living room.’’ Chris voice sounds loud. Nick pushes me away from him, I look at Matt and Chris standing beside the tv and my face blushes a bit.

‘’What the fuck are you doing here?’’ Nick stands up and tries to push them out of the room.

‘’We just wanted to spend some time with our brother and his boyfriend. What’s wrong with that?’’ Chris is smiling and I can tell Matt is holding back a laugh.

‘’Just go away.’’ Nick mutters.

‘’But we just got here.’’ Matt smiles sitting besides me, Chris follows him sitting besides him. Nick covers his face and lets out a tiny scream while waking towards the couch and sitting beside me. ‘’So, what is the movie about?’’

‘’I don’t think they know, too busy smooching each other.’’ Chris says making a kissing face.

‘’Shut up.’’ Nick says throwing a pillow at him.

‘’Why? Is Nickie shy because he was busy with his boyfriend? Muak muak.’’ Chris smiles and throws the pillow back at Nick. Matt laughs and I try to hold mine back.

‘’I’ll literally kill you Christopher, stop it.’’ Nick tries to sound tough but his red face and nervousness got the best of him, making it sound more like a whine. Matt and Chris laugh more. ‘’I hate both of you so much.’’ Nick hugs me and hides his face on the crook of my neck.

‘’Well, your boyfriend hasn’t said anything. Tell him to defend you.’’ Matt says.

‘’Shut up.’’ Nicks voice is muffled by my body. I put my arms around his and rub his back.

‘’I don’t mind, I think it’s very cute when he gets like this.’’ I tell them, smiling.

‘’SEE, we are doing you a favor. He thinks you look cute, I’m the best wingman.’’ Chris smiles and nudges at matt who rolls his eyes.

‘’Let’s put another movie. I actually want to watch something.’’ Matt says while grabbing the tv remote.

‘’I wanna go to my room.’’ Nick mumbles to my ear, I chuckle and kiss his head gently.

‘’We can go after this movie, it will be all right, I’m here.’’ I feel him pout against my skin and then nods. ‘’It will be fun, you’ll see.’’

Every day in Egypt feels like an endless wait, and every contact with Gaza opens a door to pain. 📞💔 Returning to Gaza did not alleviate the anxiety, but rather confirmed to me that the suffering continues, whether we are inside or outside.
