Added this to the "Tags" of the other ask along these lines, but: honest, I understand the confusion! Most of me resides en abime. Seein' only this blog must be more than a bit disorientatin'!

This “Site” ain’t lettin’ up, so we’re gonna do more than a bit of remodelin’. I’ll be settin’ up shop at @williamyew, and this big fella’s gonna hold down the fort here, at least ‘til he’s got a bit more substance to make his own place. what the hell is cylinder restoration

Well, as far as I wager, it's a fella askin' for advice on restorin' his wax cylinder! A way to record and play tunes back in the day.

how did you get to know the stratagems?

I remember -- that recording booth. Four faces in that glass reflection. Long session, but boy, was it worth it! I remember jam sessions, a crowd, a banner with their names on it. It comes in bits and pieces.

The first memory of them I rightly recall, I'd say, is sitting across from them. One of their living rooms, I think, with a little brown Steinway upright in the corner. All four of them crowded casual-like onto the couch across from me. Strains of a rag in the air, with us all tapping along to it, the music vibrating through our feet and bones. Next thing I know, I'm looking down at the ivories of that Steinway, and we're all making a tune!

What's going to happen to you guys if you lose? I'm worried

Well, s'pose we'll hafta relocate. Don't think Tati can do anything to get rid of the junk we've compiled here already, so I s'pose the remains of this Blog will just sit here!
