you two went to the same school, since the both of you had good grades and were on the same track team, you wanted to become friends

you thought he was cute so you struck up a conversation with him

you two kept talking for months and you eventually went to his house to study and met his brothers, darry and soda

darry told pony to be wary of you, but was glad to have you around since you would help ponyboy get his grades up if they faltered

you also gave him a reason to go to track meets and try since you would be competing too

soda thought you were nice and that’s all he cared about, you respected and seemed to love his brother even if pony couldn’t see it himself

he realized he started to love himself more when he hung out with you, and you made him look forward to things

he loves the way you laugh, the way you would get excited talking about specific things, your love for baking and the way you would get eating your favorite meal, how pretty you were, your kindness and selflessness, he could go on and on about what he loves about you

he later asked you if you wanted to be his girlfriend and picked your favorite flowers from a field close to his house

you obviously said yes

you were so excited and gave him a big hug, saying you were waiting for him to ask you and you’re so happy he finally did

he loves you so much but feels like he’ll scare you away if he says it quickly

he tells the gang about you being his girlfriend and they freak out, asking if they can meet you

you got nervous when he told you his friends wanted to meet you, and when you did you didn’t know when to talk or not

they could tell you got nervous and dally openly made fun of you for it

you guys had the same humor and since you were respectful and treated them like decent human beings, they liked you a lot more than they expected to

dally won’t tell anyone but he thinks you’re chill, he’s still a little cautious around you though since he’s not used to you

once you leave pony’s house when he’s walking you home, he tells you the gang like you and are fine with you two being together

you’re overjoyed since you thought they didn’t like you

he’s really happy the gang likes you and you like them too, so everything’s going well in his life

JOHNNY CADE

you met johnny at the drive-in, you were with marcia and cherry while he was with pony and dally

johnny thought you were SOOO beautiful so he told pony and dally, they both thought you’d be a bitch since you were with socs and you were one too

after dally was done harassing cherry and ran off, she started a conversation with pony and johnny

you looked back at johnny and already saw him looking at you, so you smiled

you were more on the quiet side since most of the time you just didn’t have anything to say, and you were an observer

you noticed the cut on his cheek, it was deep and he had a look that made him look scared of everything, so you guessed he had problems at home

he’d flinch at loud noises and sudden movements, so you took a note of that

you were still curious about the cut on his cheek, and asked him where he got it, he looked to pony and he pat johnny on the shoulder to go sit next to you

he went up to the front row to tell you the story about how he got jumped by a group of socs, and remembered a guy with multiple rings

you said you were sorry for him, and not every soc is like that, that he can’t control what other people do but only the way he reacts

he continued the conversation and found out more about your likes and dislikes, while pony was talking to cherry, and two-bit came to talk to marcia

johnny started to feel like someone cared about him other than the gang, and he felt full until the time you had to leave

you wrote down your number on a piece of paper since you wanted to keep in touch, and drove away in your mustang

he and pony talked about you and the movie on their way home, and talked about how you don’t seem that bad and johnny should try to pursue a relationship with you

the both of you would hang out weekly through the next year, sometimes sleeping over at your house since his parents would be drunk

one time you two were having a heartfelt talk about feelings and home life, and he asked you if you could be his girlfriend

since you were shocked but reciprocated the feelings, at first you didn’t say anything and johnny got real nervous

he said sorry for asking and it got awkward, but you said you’d be his girlfriend

bro has never smiled that wide in his entire life, he’s never been so happy when someone said something until now

you two talked about the failed times you were to ask each other to be partners, and kept giggling about it until your dad walked in and told you to go to bed, and to keep the door open

you ended up going to bed, curled into each other

he told the gang since they were the only people he trusted

you didn’t meet them for a while so johnny and pony told the rest of the gang you were chill and they took his word for it

you later met them and they liked you, even started inviting you to hang outs

DARRY CURTIS

yall met when he was fixing your roof, and you thought he was so handsome

when he would get tired you would let him take a break for as long as he wanted, and even let him into your house for snacks and drinks

he appreciated it and didn’t know how to voice it more than he did

after he was done with fixing your roof, he was incredibly sad

he really liked the attention and you did too, so you gave him your number on a piece of paper and told him to call you if he wanted to talk or hang out

when he got home he started thinking about what would be good for pony and soda

he thought he had to take care of them and he was responsible so he didn’t know if he should get to know you better, he had a lot on his hands

he figured he should try to do something that makes him happy while still doing important things and taking care of his brothers

he would call you often and you would call him, planning times to meet and do things

when you two got very close after months of talking, he brought you to his house

when he brought you to his house he didn’t expect to see the whole gang there, being loud and acting wild

you didn’t mind at all and said it was okay, he later had a long talk with them about how they can’t be at his house uninvited randomly

yeah they didn’t listen at all because it happened many times after that

you started to make food for them and do laundry, acted like a mother towards them

that’s when darry knew he loved you and wanted you to be his girlfriend

he knew the gang appreciated everything you did for them and acted as a mother figure to them, they listened to you

you even got dally to listen to you and help out around the house… it wasn’t even his house but it made it easier for darry to manage

darry later saved up some money and brought you to a restaurant where he asked you to be his girlfriend

you said yes and you were both super happy :3

SODAPOP CURTIS

you came in so you could fix your car and so you could get a coke

when you saw him you were like “shiiittt he’s really handsome” and he was like “oh crap she’s really pretty look cool”

you two chatted for a while and he fixed your car while he continued talking to you

he knew the problem with your car was an easy fix but he stalled and tried to make it look like a bigger problem than it was, so he could talk to you more

he even considered going back to school so he could see you more

you started going to the DX more frequently just to get some snacks, but mostly to see soda

after school you would visit the DX, and one day he asked for your number

his heart was racing since he knew girls would most of the time get annoyed if their guy best friends had a crush on them

you weren’t annoyed at all, rather happy and wrote your number on a piece of paper he gave you

he’d give you free drinks and snacks since he liked you so much

you visited his house and sometimes the gang was there, so you talked with them

two-bit always made jokes about you and soda being touchy together and how you argued like a married couple

you later realized you liked him, and whenever someone would say something funny you two would look at each other immediately

soda asked you if you two could start dating, you were the only person that actually made him feel more than just handsome

you made him feel like an actual person with human feelings

you said yes to dating him and hugged him so tightly while squealing “yay!!!” and jumping around

steve was like “damn, what’s going on up there…?” since soda asked you to be his girlfriend when you two went up to his room

anyway the gang likes you and knows soda thinks you’re amazing and loves everything about you

DALLAS WINSTON

he first saw you in buck’s bar when he went downstairs during a party

he thought you were beautiful and you had a swarm of guys around you, waiting to talk to you

he knew he was a good looking guy so he just pushed them out of the way and started flirting with you

turns out you love his accent and used to live in new york for a bit

you two bonded over that heavily, and talked about all the wild experiences you two saw or things that personally happened with you guys

time flew by, hours passed and soon you two were the only ones in the bar that weren’t passed out or gone

you gave him your phone number since you didn’t know if he would ask, he took it and told you he’d call you in the morning

he asked if you lived nearby and you said you lived around 20 minutes away, so he took buck’s car and drove you to your house

before stepping foot into your house you gave him a hug and said thank you

he had a warm feeling and his chest and smiled, walked away and got into the car

for once he wanted something to be a long term relationship instead of a one week relationship with multiple arguments per day

he really struggled over it because he didn’t want someone to see over the walls he built for a while

he got a call from you a few minutes after he woke up, and you loved his morning voice

you asked him if he wanted to hang out, and this happened around two times a week for months at a time

he would always say yes and put away events just to be with you

sometimes he would invite you to events if he wanted to hang out with you

he later asked you months after you two met if you wanted to be his girlfriend

he just asked you out of the blue while you two were eating dairy queen, “wanna be my girl” and you stared at him for a bit

he was like “…what” and tried to act nonchalant but in his mind he was thinking about everything he did wrong

you smiled widely and said yes to dating him and he felt a wave of relief wash over him

his heartbeat finally slowed down after a few minutes

he offered to bring you to the curtis’ house so you could meet the gang

when he brought you there, he asked you if you could stay outside for a few minutes because he had to talk to them

he told the gang he’d bash their heads in if they weren’t nice to you

he went back outside to grab your hand and bring you into the house, where you saw multiple people

they all tried to start a conversation with you and dally glared at them since you immediately got overwhelmed, so they backed off

they slowly started making conversations with you and small talk, you got along with them great

they weren’t only nice to you because dally told them to, but because you treated them good too

he was really happy you and his friends got along but didn’t really show it

TWO-BIT MATTHEWS

i kinda know jack shit about him so this one’s probably gonna be short sorry

you two met at the drive in when he was messing around with everyone and random people

you two were at the concessions part to get food and you pulled out your wallet, showing a mickey mouse plush and you as a child in a photo

he was like “holy shit, this girl likes mickey too??” so he asked you about it

you were a little weirded out that he payed that much attention to the point where he noticed the plush in the photo, but you still talked to him

you two continued the conversation and you offered to pay for his food, he cracked some jokes which you laughed at a lot

you two watched the drive-in movie together while making jokes along the way and talking about things in the movie

you weren’t there with anyone and he was just there to mess around with people so he enjoyed being with you

you got each others numbers and started hanging out with the gang

they thought you were funny like two-bit and made the best duo ever

yall were UNSTOPPABLE

he later asked if you two could be together after a year of talking

you said yes and, like in johnny’s section, started talking about the times you almost asked each other to be together and laughed about it for hours

that shit brought you to tears— funny happy tears though

i know i said i know jack shit about two-bit too but i think i actually know like nothing about steve

soda introduced him to you since you were looking for a boyfriend but all the guys who were interested in you treated you like shit

he left you and steve alone for a bit so you two talked about cars and your jobs, you decided you would visit him at the DX since he worked there

you two talked about societal problems and even opened up to each other emotionally, which was quick considering you two only knew each other for a few hours

since you two got along so well you talked to soda and asked him if he thought if was okay you two are talking

“well yeah no shit i’m fine with you two talking, i set you two up!!” he said

i mean he’s not wrong

you and steve ended up hanging out once every two weeks, then it turned to once every week, to twice and sometimes three times

he’d sometimes stay over at your house

since you two had so many common interests and problems you two got together

it was actually really mutual since you were gonna ask each other at the same time if you could date

you laughed about it later but obviously said yes

you met the gang and they liked you, turns out all of you have many common interests with each other

steve loves being with you so much and talks to soda when he needs advice

you talk to soda about steve too and he’s so happy he gets all the tea about your relationship

pony likes someone who can both yap and listen, he enjoys hearing you talk about things and how you get excited and smile, but he also loves talking to you and ranting, he appreciates someone who can listen to when he gets really excited over small things or in general

one of the first things he looks for in a person is their intelligence, if one is smarter than the other then he wouldn’t want to feel stupid or you to feel bad that you’re not as smart as him

he prefers studying together if the both of you are at the same level and classes in school

he always felt like he needed emotional support so if you can provide that for him, he’s all over you

along with someone who shows affection in public and isn’t ashamed, whether it’s complimenting him, hugging him or giving him gifts

johnny extremely values people who are loyal to him, someone who won’t leave at the first sense of danger or sadness, instead tries to work out the problem and continue communicating

he gets nervous when confrontation is involved, but communicating lets him know you care and love him, because if you didn’t care, you wouldn’t talk to him about whatever’s bothering you

johnny loves someone who is respectful of boundaries, he never really knew how to make his own because he never had them in the first place, his parents didn’t care enough to restrict him from doing anything

so if you notice he’s uncomfortable with something you’re or someone else is doing, you’ll stop or tell them to stop and he’ll love you even more

darry loves someone who is very patient, he can get very occupied sometimes because of work and basically raising his brothers, so it’s very time consuming and he’d love it if his partner is patient

also if you help him out with pony and soda, like buying groceries or making them food or simply taking them places, although he’ll feel bad that he’s not doing the work, he’ll appreciate whatever you do for him or his siblings

he likes it if you cherish the time you and him have together because it’s so little, so quality time is very important to him

whenever the two of you have time, the both of you will try to work something out that the both of you like, so if you’re good at compromising then he likes that

that way the two of you can do what you want but together

he really appreciates someone who can stand up for themselves, basically an assertive person who isn’t afraid to express what they want and stuff

dally makes a lot of mistakes so he wants someone who is forgiving, he can get frustrated though if you don’t forgive him immediately

but he hates apologizing first and sees it as a weakness, he learns his lesson after you don’t talk to him for a few days, he struggles to say sorry but he gets it across

if you’re brutally honest like him, he will fucking love you, the two of you might disagree on things but you hardly ever lie to each other

if you say something like, “that was a bit rude, dal, not his fault that you didn’t like the milkshake.” so he’ll sigh and roll his eyes, apologizing to you and saying he’ll try not to do it again

keith loves someone who has the same sense of humor as him, if he tells a joke or insults someone and you come up with something funnier or more insulting, he’s head over heels

another thing he really loves is someone who’s good with kids, like they get along and can take care of kids

especially if the kids go out of their way to see you and they can tell you have a good heart, he loves that

same goes with animals, like they have a sense of intuition whether or not some is a safe person to be around, so if animals go to you then they feel safe

STEVE RANDLE

he likes someone who is respectful of others, specifically boundaries and is very careful not to cross them

also someone who sees the good and bad side of everything, if you try to see others perspectives then he’ll really appreciate it

that way he knows you’re caring of not only yourself and your friends, but people you don’t know either

he loves it if someone is protective of him but not to the point where he can’t do anything on his own, he can handle himself very well and you both know that, but if you’re protective then he knows you’d do a lot to keep him safe

after you took the test and got your grade back, seeing it was an A, you suddenly felt better

at the end of the day, you and pony decided to go back to your house to study

he noticed you were talking more and laughing, so he asked you what happened

you smiled and told him you got a good grade on your test, for the first time in a while

you switched the topic and continued smiling, and pony looked at you with love

he was glad that you were feeling better, and he suspected you’d stay happy for weeks

he sometimes gets confused when you randomly switch but doesn’t say much about it

he’ll ask you about it later but not in the moment, especially if other people are there too

he knows you like it when he reads to you, so when you’re feeling upset, he’ll read to you so maybe you’ll feel better

he doesn’t want you to get frustrated if you’re not included in things, so he’ll always invite you to his track meets and will tell you about all the drama that happens if you don’t know about it

he was shocked and didn’t know why you were so happy, but smiled back at you

you told him you were happy to see him unannounced, but asked why he came by

he told about what happened, so you invited him in and made cupcakes together

he knows what it’s like to be in a depressive state, so he’ll always try and help you feel in touch with the world

he tried to help you focus on things more and really take in information while paying attention

like focusing on how things move or sound, how strong smells are and how loud things are, how specific tastes are sweet, salty, hot, etc

when you’re happy, he tries to keep you like that by randomly checking up on you to see how you’re doing

he’ll also offer to do things for you like carrying or cleaning things for you

he just wants to make things easier for you, but of course that doesn’t always works

johnny loves you and makes sure you know it, always telling you you’re amazing and beautiful, that he appreciates everything you do, etc

when you hear the door opening and a creak, you look over to see soda with a dairy queen bag and two drinks

you got up from the chair and walked over to him, he put down the food

you put your hands and cradled his face while giving him a long kiss, then tracing your hand down his chest

after the two of you pulled away from the kiss, he looked down at you with a smile and said “glad you’re feeling better, sweetheart”

he’s naturally a very bubbly person and is a romantic at heart, you cannot change my mind

he literally worships the ground you walk on and will do that no matter how you’re feeling

if you’re feeling extra bad and hardly have the energy to get out of bed, he’ll take some days off work to spend more time with you

he just wants you to feel good but doesn’t always know how to handle it

he knows what it’s like to feel unheard, so he checks up on you a lot no matter how you’re feeling

when you’re happy, the two of you will go on cute little dates together

he’ll buy you a pretty necklace for your date and it’s an S for his name

when you’re angry, he’ll always try and calm you down without yelling

you try your best to not yell either since both of you know it doesn’t get you anywhere

you weren’t feeling that good for the past couple weeks ever since pony and johnny ran away

you stayed at darry’s house for a while, he was worried sick about the two boys

then you heard the phone ring, so you looked at darry, and he motioned you to go answer it

you got up off the counter and into the living room, where the phone was ringing loudly

picking up the phone, you said, “y/n l/n, what do you need?”

the person on the other end asked, “is darry curtis there? his brother and friend are in the hospital.”

your eyes went wide and you felt happy that the boys were back, but scared as to why they were in the hospital

you put the phone down without answering back, and ran to darry to tell him what had happened

he yelled for soda to come down since they had to go see pony and johnny in the hospital

he immediately went out the door and drove you two to the hospital, and you went to the floor where pony and johnny were

when you saw pony sitting on the chair, you smiled widely

darry was happy to see you feeling good again, but was still worried about why pony and johnny where there

he can get really impatient and frustrated with you at times but tries to stay calm because you can’t control how you act sometimes

most of the time, he knows when you’re struggling and tries to help you

so sometimes he’ll schedule an emergency therapy if you’re in a really bad mental state for whatever reason

he really cares about you but doesn’t always have the time or patience to try and reason with you

when you’re happy and feeling good, he’ll take you out to different places

sometimes it’s a restaurant and sometimes it’s just a little activity for you two to do together

he really likes cooking, so he’ll make food for you and will try new recipes

he’ll ask you to help him out with cooking since he knows you like to be a part of things

when you’re feeling sad, he tries to get you out of that mindset as soon as possible

he’ll still include you in hangouts in hope that you’ll feel better

DALLAS WINSTON

you were in one of your episodes, specifically one where you were mad all the time, which lasted for a few weeks

you knew you couldn’t do much about it, but dally would always try to get you out of the pissed off mindset

he always tried to make you feel better, even though most of the time, it wouldn’t do anything

he still wanted you to know he loves you, even if you wouldn’t appreciate it in the moment, you would appreciate it later when you were feeling better

today was your birthday, however, so dally took you out for dinner and actually paid

that got you out of your mad mindset, and he saw the moment you switched over to being happy

seeing that might’ve made him the happiest he’s ever been, knowing that he was the one to get you to switch over

you smiled and apologized for how you acted a few days ago, the two of you got into an argument

he brushed it off and said it was okay, and the two of you continued your dinner

when you were in your depressive episodes, he would help you shower, eat and go on walks since you hardly had the energy to get up

he would bathe you and buy you meals so you could eat

making you go outside at least every few days, the two of you would go on walks since he wanted you to get fresh air

when you were feeling mad, and you would feel that way for weeks, he would mostly stay away even though it was difficult for him

you were feeling happy and told him that if you were being all pissy at him, he should just not talk to you

you didn’t want to ruin your relationship or say something you didn’t mean, so you don’t him not to interact with you at those times

he still would, though, he would do little check ups on you to see if you were feeling okay, or if you wanted anything

if you were happy, he tried to keep you in that state for as long as he could

he thought you would stay happier if he gave you things, a lot of attention, and was overall with you more

it did work for a bit, until you randomly switched over, but he didn’t understand why

he would get impatient and frustrated with you at some points, but always managed to push through since he cared about you so much

TWO-BIT MATTHEWS

he just wants you to get some fresh air and to socialize with others, since you hadn’t in a few weeks

he looked to you and smiled, weirdly proud of himself for getting you to feel better

he’d always try to make jokes even if you weren’t feeling the best

when you aren’t feeling that well, he’ll bring you to the drive-in so you can spend time together and just to try to help you feel better

STEVE RANDLE

the two of you were randomly talking while he was on his break at work, you decided to visit him at the DX

both of you were sitting down in the back, eating burgers and drinking soda

he asked you how school was going for you, and your eyes lit up

you started moving your hands around a lot and kicking your feet, talking about a fun project you were working on with your friends

he listened and continued asking questions in order to lengthen the conversation since you seemed excited

you didn’t think much about how you were down and now you were happy, so you started talking about some drama between a boy and girl in your class

he was normally the one to talk, but enjoyed hearing you talk more than you normally did

when you’re not feeling the best, he’ll bring you into the DX so you can help him fix up cars

it’s just a new thing for you to learn and to hang out with each other

he’s weirdly smart in some ways, so he’ll occasionally help you with history, since he was always into that

when you were feeling really happy, he’d invite you to hang out with the gang

he knew you appreciated it and would invite you whenever he could

“uh, yeah, that’s my partner. sorry you had to find out this way, steve!!!” you yelled back, he heard sniffles from the back room, soda not in sight, ‘probably comforting you,’ your brother thought

steve sighed, asking your partner once again, “why was she runnin’ away from you? what’d you do?”

ponyboy leaned closer to you, whispering into your ear, “i hope we’re paired up, we can’t choose though…” and you nodded, whispering back, “yeah, i think any of the other boys would break the egg…” you heard your boyfriend giggle, a smile forming on your face

the day passed by quickly, ponyboy took the egg for the school day and the two of you went to your house after

when the two of you reached your house, you crocheted a little blanket for the egg, making it harder for it to crack and break

the teacher began walking to each pairs’ desks, she reached yours and was holding a clipboard

the ferris wheel started to move, people got off the capsules and people got on, creating a new rotation of people to be on the ferris wheel at the same time

the cycle repeated until no one from the last rotation was on the ferris wheel, and it began to move in a circular motion with no pauses

“yayyy!! i always love being on here, you can see so much from up here!!” you rejoiced, soda agreed and commented on what you had said

after a few rotations of spinning around, the conductor began to let people off of the ferris wheel

eventually, your capsule was at the top, and you told soda, “thank you for asking me to go here with you. i’ve really enjoyed it, i’m happy i get to spend new years with you.” looking at him sweetly

the two of you heard people counting down from ten, both of you looked at each other, thinking the same thing

“five, four, three, two,” people cheered, and when they said ‘one,’ your boyfriend said, “i love you so much.” both of you leaned over to each other and kissed

two-bit measured the dry ingredients and poured them into the dry mix, mixing them together and pouring it into a square pan

you had previously set the temperature to 350 fahrenheit, so you put on kitchen mittens and grabbed the pan, pushing it into the oven

you put the timer for twenty five minutes for the brownies to bake, and in the meantime, you and keith talked about his sister

after the timer went off, you turned off the alarm and lowered the oven temperature, opening the oven and taking out the pan after putting on your kitchen mittens

“the show’s in around an hour, should probably get dressed so we can leave soon. it’ll take about twenty minutes to drive there.” your boyfriend commented, you nodded and gave him a kiss before walking up to your bedroom

after you looked through your wardrobe and picked out an outfit, you walked to your bathroom to brush your teeth and fix your hair

the two of you continued with your conversation and had your drinks, around ten minutes without food, the comedian came out and thanked everyone for being at the restaurant

he started telling jokes, you and keith would look at each other whenever something was funny

you knew he really liked that comedian, so you were joyful to see him enjoying this

around twenty minutes later, the comedian was still talking and sarah came to the table with your food, quietly stating, “enjoy, you two!”

you thanked her and began gnawing on your food, nearly starving, two-bit almost spat out his food due to laughing, almost making you choke

around an hour after being at the restaurant, the comedian thanked everyone for being there, once again, and left

you and two-bit were finished with your food, sarah came by with the check and you pulled out your wallet, giving her a twenty dollar tip plus what you were supposed to pay

“alright, ready keith?” you asked, smiling at him, he nodded, feeling sleepy because he was stuffed with food

you and steve were walking to a field where you would watch a firework show, it was the fourth of july and he wanted to celebrate

“yeah, this crazy lady came into the DX and was like ‘i deserve all this money because i’ve been in america for 15 years!!’ and me and soda looked at each other, because why the fuck would anyone think that…” he said, genuinely confused

anyway, the two of you arrived at the field and saw hundreds of people, some sitting on blankets and some sitting on the grass, some laying down and some standing up

after walking around, the two of you saw an empty space, you placed your blanket onto the ground and sat down next to your boyfriend

the two of you were talking when the first firework exploded after ten minutes of nothing, people clapping and saying ‘america’ ‘USA’ ‘i’m gonna shit my pants that looks so cool’

after forty minutes of many fireworks and loud noises, there was a loud voice coming from a speaker, saying, “alright, this is our final firework folks! we hope you have a great rest of your night! happy fourth of july!”

multiple red, white and blue fireworks shot up into the air with loud ‘boom’s, many people ‘ooo’ing and ‘woahhh’ing

you looked to your left to see steve staring up at the fireworks, believing he felt at peace for the first time in a long time

he noticed you staring and smirked, looking at your eyes then your lips, putting his hand on your cheek and giving you a kiss

you kissed him back, and when the two of you pulled away, you put your head in his shoulder

the fireworks were still going, and steve said, “i love you, y/n.”

you replied quietly, “i love you too, stevie.” knowing his friends made fun of him for that nickname, he chuckled at it

you and the gang were sitting on the couch in the curtis house, bored out of your minds. you sat next to dally, your legs laying on his lap as you stared at the ceiling.

steve then asked, “hey, you guys know about that new movie that’s comin’ out today? it’s gonna be on in ‘round an hour, i’m goin’.” soda chimed in, saying he wanted to join too. soon, the others began to voice how they wanted to see the movie too.

everyone had spoken besides you, dally noticed and looked at you, placing his hand on your calf. “you gonna go too?” he asked, looking at you up and down.

you responded, “not sure, my legs are really sore… i was walkin’ around town with my friend the whole day.”

dally began to rub your calf in a caring way, he softly suggested, “how ‘bout i carry you or somethin’? that way you can still go, yeah?”

you thought for a second before nodding your head and thanking him. you and the gang had around twenty minutes to spare before you had to start heading over to the drive in.

you continued to watch the movie you were already watching, it ending around fifteen minutes later. two-bit suggested, “should probably head over now, it’ll take around… what, ten minutes? so then we’ll be like… half an hour early? is that right?”

the gang responded in different ways, nodding and talking. all of you stood up from the couch, stretching and groaning before walking out the door. dally turned to you as you stood up, taking a moment while you cracked your back.

“get on my back.” he says, bending down slightly as you jump on his back. he walks out as you rest your cheek on his back, tired and still wanting to rest.

“needed old dal to help you, huh baby?” he asked, teasing you. as your arms are wrapped around his neck, you let go to lightly push his back, mumbling, “shut up…”

he thought for a second, smirking as the gang was looking at the two of you. he decided to tease you again, “couldn’t do it on your own, huh? and out of all people, you decided to choose me to carry you. could’ve asked anyone else…”
