i’ve wondered about this a lot recently, but i know the Nutbush (which is a line dance done to Nutbush City Limits by Tina Turner if you weren’t aware) is popular where i live, in Australia. like, if you don’t know it here you’ve been living under a rock, it’s cultural.

i’m pretty curious about how common it is to know the song and dance inside and outside of Australia, if you’d like to do a poll about that.

i don’t think reading the entirety of Deltora Quest as a kid was exactly my best decision because now as a teenager anytime i get a weird crawly, touchy or itchy feeling in my ear my immediate reaction is “IT’S THE EVIL BRAINWASHING WORMS!!¡¡!”

dawg i HATE it when people edit photos of characters where they airbrush them to infinity and beyond. like you can just SEE that it’s all way too smooth and it’s like GIVE ME SKIN TEXTURE! IT LOOKS OFF NOW I DON’T LIKE IT. gives me the heebie jeebies i swear.

but i just realised that aside from aging from MU to MI (like the wrinkles under his eyes, etc) two other things happened

First off, the spines on his head grew. In MU they were pretty short and rounded (that’s what she said), but in MI they’re really long and spindly (also what she said).

And second, his scales get a lot duller after the scare games final match incident. Like he was a slightly brighter purple shade at first, then he got a bit duller after he took off his glasses, and then after the scare games, he became really bitter and a lot duller in colour. I think that might be kinda showing that he isn’t really happy anymore? Or it could be an age thing. Idk maybe I’m just overthinking it. I’m so normal about him <3

hi! so i dipped into the void for a hot minute, but i’m back. i saw this chain that i can no longer find, of people using this picrew to make their current and past selves, so here’s my contribution!

My hair was much redder as a kid, but you still can see the red in my hair in good lighting now lmao. And yeah, i had blue eyes as a little kid, i based myself off of when i was about 5 here i think? I think my eyes kinda went green when i was about 5 or 6.

It is just really fun to draw parallel and difference from me to my younger self, especially since i’ve changed my name. I lost what made little me myself for a long time in my early teenage years, but i think i’m becoming more like her again now, or at least an older, (somewhat) more mature version. And it’s kinda funny how i’ve come full circle back to my extroverted, friendly younger self, and how my style has shifted a lot too.

I really would like to meet her, i would love to tell her so many things.

ANYWAY emotional hours over, i’m so sorry for being gone so long, might drop more childhood and friends and family lore through picrews, might do some headcanons, might vanish again, who knows!
