watching through the drama adaptation of detention rn and li lingwei and ning han’s chemistry is iconic actually. the shift to ray occupying yunxiang’s body is visually understood through the shift in mannerisms. yunxiang never keeps her hair behind her ears but whenever she makes a hair tucking action it’s with one hand. ray always uses both hands to tuck her hair behind her ears. such actions are so strongly associated with one character that when a different actor does it you know something’s wrong
