the smallest expressions of love.....the tiniest inklings of affection......on my mind........

nancy does the laces up on your shoes whenever they come undone. she checks on them after you've kicked them off, sits down and relaces them if she's noticed they've come apart. and if you're out together and your knots come undone, she kneels down and does them up for you without any hesitation--even if it dirties her hard-earned nails, because it's worth it.

eddie picks out the best bite on his plate when you eat out, takes a nibble of it to make sure, and holds it out for you to eat off his fork or out of his hand. if he's got some of your favourite foods on the side he always lets you eat some of his, if not all of them. sometimes he just sneaks the best bite on your plate when you're not looking.

robin puts your favourite movies on the "staff picks" rack at family video. she cycles them around when you find new ones but always comes back to your classic favourites--if not so that they're right at the front when you come to rent something, then so more people will pick up the ones you like and understand why they're so good.

steve holds your drinks for you. always. doesn't matter if you're at a bar or a party or at a gathering with friends, he takes your drink and moves to stand by the bathroom as soon as you disappear inside of it. but as soon as he hears the toilet flush, he heads back to the spot you left him like he never moved in the first place.

chrissy talks about you. a lot. she's popular whether she wants to be or not, so she does what she can with it. she mentions you whenever she has the chance, talks up how nice you are, how smart, how funny--she makes you sound like the best person to be around, until your reputation precedes you as it should.

jonathan waters the flowers by your house or work or school with his water bottle whenever he passes by. he picks out the ones he knows you like, or just ones with colours you're fond of, and gives them a little tending so they keep growing. so you have something pretty to look at whenever you're walking by.

argyle finds the craziest, coolest, brightest-coloured shirts to buy whenever he has a little money left over from his paycheck. something that's sure to get your attention--something that, when you see him wearing it, will make you laugh or smile or comment on. something that will hopefully remind you of him whenever you see that same colour or saying or pattern somewhere else, and will make you smile like it did the first time.

billy carries your name around with him. etches your initials into his lighter. tucks your photo or a note signed by you in his wallet. keeps an unsent love letter to you in his glovebox. he does it for strength, to keep himself upright--to lift his mood when he's sad and stay his hand when he's furious. to remind himself that there's something good in this world that's worth fighting for.

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?) A physical touch! He is very affectionate and clingy, he never seems to get out of this phase of love and affection. So….yeah, he needs to hold you in his arms, he's totally into it.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship begin?)

I know this is very cliché and I've used this scenario before but I really like to think that you would be a new student who recently moved to Germany and because you don't know the language the kids would make fun of you but he and his twin would enthusiastically help you and be friends with you.

Bill would understand how lonely and hard it is for you because he too was bullied because of his unique style and he would love to tell you about his new ideas and dreams. You would have been best friends, the kind that never quarrel and always with pleasure seek to spend time together. Thanks to him you would discover your style and he would help you with it in every way possible. He would have helped you to realize yourself. Also, even though you were both kids you would often talk about deep topics and discuss your personal problems and it would actually be very surprising to people around you. All in all, he is a great and supportive friend.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

One more time: He's clingy so 99% of the time he's always hugging you, even if it's a small, insignificant, inconspicuous hug.

He loves to have you cuddle up to him, especially if you're shorter than him he leans over so you can wrap your armsaround his neck. He loves to hug you when you are alone, then he can fully squeeze either you or himself to you so that his head was on your chest and his arms around your waist and he enjoys that you stroke his hair. He'll hug you on stage, but it's more like he comes close to you and just holds you by the forearm, or at public events he may hug you more, like a full-blown nice hug. Also when he's upset or tired he wants nothing more than to put his head on your shoulder and fall asleep like that while you hold each other.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

He's never really thought much about it. He's ready to do it after some time in the relationship, but not now, when his music career is at its peak, even if sometimes it's hard and he gets really tired. But hey, for your sake he's certainly doing everything he can to make sure you don't feel lonely.

In the house he's, well not exactly neat, he's forgetful and absent-minded so if you're like me really like cleanliness and cleaning then in this case it's nothing and you don't have to worry about it that much.

He would be happy to help you clean, for example wash dishes or arrange books and clothes, he would be very active in helping you and asking for advice, in fact he likes to clean with you and he already knows how to do a lot because you taught him to do it.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?) It would have been hard for him to do that. He would think long and hard about the right way to talk to you about it, he knows it is wrong to break up over the phone, but he knows he can't contain his emotions if he sees you, but if it happens face to face he will try to be more serious and calm, he seems even cold and irritable but this is only because he is struggling not to break down infront of you.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

Because he is young he didn't think about it until you mentioned it, and since then he can't get it out of his head and often thinks about it, of course he would like a family with you in the future and he is sure it will happen someday, but for now he sees that you both are fine together without getting married so he doesn't want to rush things.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

He is very gentle with you, sometimes you may think he treats you as if you were something fragile and precious, and that is true. Just understand he is that kind of person, he is very graceful by nature and it shows in his attitude towards you. You are his baby, just accept that he is like that.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Of course he loves to hug you when you both are alone, he loves to be a little spoon but this can vary depending on his mood, he loves it when you hold each other and he snuggles into your neck and just lays there, he also loves it when you do the same to him.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

He doesn't want to throw this word around, but he often says it to fans, but to his partner he says it to you when he really understands the depth of both his and your feelings, gets to know you better and feels comfortable with you, then he will say it to you very often and it will not be just words, he is really sincere when he tells you that he loves you.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they're jealous?) He doesn't often get jealous of you, but if that happens he gets very upset, he's not very confident and is really afraid of losing you and that you'll find someone better. He's also going to pout and frown at the person who's flirting with you, he'll cross his arms and literally sizzle with his eyes, he'll stand next to you and try to show you're his.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

He loves it as much as he loves hugging you. Usually it's a light, butterfly-like kiss, a quick peck on the lips, but if he's especially playful or drunk then he literally kisses you with such passion that it's hard to calm him down. (Definitely whines during a passionate session 🙂 )

He loves kissing you on the cheeks, he used to do this a lot as a kid and it's a long standing habit between you, also due to the fact that he's tall then he kisses you on the forehead or the top of your head. He likes all kinds of your kisses, but especially he likes it when you kiss his neck and lips, sometimes you can playfully kiss his nose and he will melt from this.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

He loves children! He is very affectionate and adorable with them, especially babies, and if you have a younger sibling he would definitely be happy and excited to meet them and if you ask him to, he will definitely spend time with them, play, cradle them and so on. Although he hasn't thought about it yet because he is still young, he definitely wants you to get him one in the future 🤭

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

If he has a lot of work, concerts, interviews and photo shoots that day he will get up before you, but won't leave until he kisses you on the cheek or forehead goodbye, but if you wake up he will definitely give you time to make little romantic gestures while getting dressed and putting on makeup. If it's a day off and that means he has nowhere to be early in the morning, he'll cuddle with you and just lie there admiring you or discussing your general plans for the day.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?) He gets very tired and has no energy left for even the usual routine, so you always help him to change and wash his makeup, brush his hair or give him a massage, for which he is very grateful to you. But then again when it's a day off he's happy to be active and watch a movie with you or paint your nails or play a game with you. He'll always fall asleep in your arms but he's a restless sleeper, fidgeting around and picking up his blanket and limbs, so be careful and good luck.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

He will open up to you when he realizes that he trusts you and that you are not the one to judge him. And no, he won't literally tell you all his secrets the first chance he gets, you've had many personal conversations and you've learned more and more about him and he about you, so it takes a long time, but in the end it's something that will bring you even closer together and it will be a precious memory for both of you.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

He's hardly ever angry at you because he has nothing to be angry about, you don't do anything that might annoy him, but sometimes he can still be a little rude from tiredness and in that case he needs time to recover and calm down but he will feel guilty right away and apologize to you later.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

He remembers absolutely everything, sometimes of course he forgets things, but he would never forget your birthday, or your favorite song, book, movie, etc. Although he could forget details such as your favorite color but that was in childhood 🙄

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

He appreciates every moment and memory that is associated with you and it is hard for him to choose one favorite, but he still holds warmly in his heart the moments when you were children and shared deep feelings of affection and trust for each other that grew into feelings of love in adolescence.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?) He's very protective, he's very afraid that crazy fans or paparazzi might hurt you and make you feel uncomfortable, so he'll do his best to make sure you're always safe, he's always with you and tries to keep you close and not lose sight of you, if he can't accompany you he'll make sure you call him sometimes or write about how you are. As for him, he knows a lot of people don't like him because of how he looks and he's used to it but sometimes he can get a little upset because of what he heard or read on the internet or in the press about himself but you are always there for him to take his mind off it and let him know that other people's opinions are just stupid crap and convince him that he is the best boy in the world!

T = Try (How much effort would he put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

He tries very hard to please you and he can afford expensive gifts and often spoils you with them even if you tell him he doesn't have to. He often takes you on dates to restaurants, shops and clubs and goes on vacations with you to luxury resorts and so on. He wants you to not need anything else. You could say you are his sugar baby.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

Bill works very hard and it can be bad for his health, he literally forgets to take care of himself and you have to literally get him to sleep and eat normally, not that he is against this kind of care from you, he is very grateful and appreciative.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

This guy knows he is handsome, he has a bunch of fans and a lot of people praise his looks, but sometimes there are times when he doesn't see himself the way others see him and he definitely needs support from you in those moments.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

I mean yes, he's used to you and having you around or waiting for him at home and so on, and he would feel devastated if he had to be without you, you've been together a long time and of course it would affect him so much that he would feel sad and longing if he wasn't there for you.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

He has repressed his feelings for you for a long time because he was afraid of losing a friend like you and ruining your friendship, but then he confessed it to you and surprisingly you reciprocated and he was over the moon, though not much has changed in your relationship. He likes the fact that you are his best friend and lover all in one.

Y = Yuck (What are some things he wouldn't like, either in general or in a partner?)

He wouldn't want his partner to be indifferent to him, if you're not as invested in the relationship as he is then he will definitely feel bad and unwanted by you, so you don't need to be embarrassed by him and you just need to love him back, this is obvious.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?) He likes to hold your hand while he sleeps, or when you fall asleep before he does he will definitely admire your facial features and gently trace the contours of your face, nose, cheekbones, he just can't understand how a person can be so beautiful and how lucky he is to have you, he just admires you. And also before going to bed you both talk for a long time about what you did today, he loves your nightly conversations before falling asleep.

NETEYAM

He would be the type to have "self care" dates with you where you hangout at your place and put face masks on him.

"can I peel it off now?" Neteyam reached up to touch the paste that was spread on his face. You would quickly smack his hand back down "no! It's not dry enough" Neteyam nodded and went back to leaning against the backboard of your bed while scrolling through his phone. "I'm gonna have to add moisturizer on your face afterwards because you have dryass skin" You said while laying down beside him on your stomach. All Neteyam did in return was give you his deadly side eye.

The type to take the most embarrassing pictures of you because he thinks it's funny

"Neteyam stop!" You grabbed a pillow and covered your face with it as Neteyam laughed, pointing a camera at you. "Oh come on just one pic pleasee" he would beg and try to pry the pillow off your face. Once the pillow got pulled off he'd put the camera straight to your forehead taking a picture of you with the 0.5 option on. He would laugh his ass off, almost falling off your bed once he viewed the picture. "You were mid blink" He managed to say while panting from all the laughter. You'd death stare him before smacking his forearm.

The type to wait for you by your school locker.

The school bell rang and you packed up your stuff before walking out the classroom door. You headed straight to your locker knowing that Neteyam was already waiting for you. You pushed your way through the tsunami of students through the halls until you finally saw your boyfriend. "Neteyam!" He quickly looked up from his phone and waved at you with his signature smile. He opened his arms signaling for you to hug him which you gladly did. "wanna go to my place?" He'd suggest while pulling back from the hug and taking a hold of your hand. "Yeah."

The type to bring you random gifts no matter the occassion

"I thought you might like this" He'd pull out a little box filled with stuff just for you. It had plushies, your favorite snacks, self care products, jewelry and one of his hoodies. "Neteyam thank you but you didn't have to really" You cupped his cheek and kissed it. Neteyam would jokingly roll his eyes before answering "Oh come on of course I gotta spoil my princess." He'd take your hand off his cheek and kissed your knuckles.

The type to have matching stuff with you.

Neteyam loved gifting you stuff especially if it's something you guys could match with. For example he'd gift you matching jewelry where if you put the two pieces together it'll make a symbol. He'd give you matching pajamas for when you two had sleepovers. He'd give you brand new shoes just so you can wear to school and match with him. He'd buy you a hoodie he'd already because he thinks it'll look cute on you.

LO'AK

the type to have a polaroid picture of you behind his phone case.

"Is that me?" You teased him after taking a look at the back of his phone. "What? Noo it's my side chick" Lo'ak said sarcastically with a grin on his face that quickly disappeared after you smacked him right in the chest. "Chill I'm joking yes it's you!" He'd dramatically clutch the left part of his chest where his heart was located at. "Yeah that's what I thought" You'd say before going back to cuddling with him.

The type to call you "bro" by accident

"yo bro can you pass me my charger?" Lo'ak would say nonchalantly not noticing you staring right through him. You squinted your eyes almost giving him the side eye before finally handing him his charger. "Bro?" You said with your eyes still locked onto him. He looked back at you confused before it finally clicked. "Ohh sorry my love it just comes out automatically ya know?"

The type to FaceTime you whenever he feels like it

You woke up to your phone ringing loudly right in your ear as your fell asleep with it next to your head. You groaned and picked it up to check who was calling you this late at night. Seeing that it was only Lo'ak you immediately answered. "Why are you awake?" You'd say first while he was fixing his pillow on the other side of the phone. "I'm not sleepy plus I missed you so" He'd answer nonchalantly as you thought for awhile. "I'll stay on call until you fall sleep then." Lo'ak would smile after hearing you say that and nodded. You guys ended up staying on call blabbering about random topics until finally your eyes began to feel heavy so you slowly shut them. Lo'ak was also quiet you thought maybe he fell asleep too. You were so close to drifting off to sleep before your phone flashed white with a clicking sound in the background. You immediately woke up again in shock. "Did you just take a screenshot of me?"

The type to call you embarrassing nicknames cause he thinks it's funny

"what's wrong stink stink?" Lo'ak would ask with his hands squishing your cheeks. You glared at him even more. You huffed and dropped the controller you were holding after losing to Lo'ak once again. "Don't be mad pooks I'm just a god at this game." He'd pinch your nose obviously messing with you "A god? Or a sweat who never leaves his room?" You'd tease him back which made his eyes widen and mouth open. "Oh chill out before your eyes pop out my love I'm only joking"

The type to have "study" dates cause he wasn't paying attention in class

"Hello? Lo'ak are you even listening?" You'd wave your hand infront of his face finally getting him out of his deep thoughts. He'd scratched his head before huffing. "I just don't get how I need physics in the real world." You'd simply roll your eyes and quietly chuckled. "Just learn it for now so you don't fail and have your mother skin you." You grabbed his hands gently rubbing his palm with your thumb. "Study now and we'll hangout after this alright?" Lo'ak grumbled quietly before nodding. "Ok but if I fail the test I'm blaming you"
