"Do you not want to give us another chance?" The villain questioned the hero, breathing heavily from the exertion they just went through. The hero walked towards him, seemingly out of breath as well.
"I would. However, the government wouldn't want me to. The job wouldn't allow me to." The hero sighed, stopping abruptly close to the villain. His eyes were a deep blue, and the villain felt himself staring instead of listening. His ears rang with white noise mixed with the hero's rough undertone.
"But..." The villain began, exhausted. His forehead glistened with sweat, his body, hot. He wished things would go back to the way they were, without either of them having to try, having to have this talk right now, but, it seemed impossible. It was impossible. He was tired of fighting like this, hurting each other(even though he always tried to refrain from any severe physical injuries, hell, no injuries at all if it was under his control).
"But, what?" The hero frowned, coming close to the villain, and sneaking an arm around his waist. He took a moment to admire the man in front of him before attaching their foreheads together. He let out a long exhale.
"But, I still have the offer standing." The villain murmured, the distance between them felt incomputable yet, restricted enough. A roaring silence followed as the wind passed through them.
"The offer...well. I can't join your side, unfortunately. I have morals and a reputation to keep." The hero whispered, and the villain noticed just how close they had actually gotten. He breathed out.
"You can always choose to change." This was not going in the right direction, and the villain knew it. He thought to say, 'Would you choose others instead of me?' but stopped himself short.
"I wouldn't want to… if I can be the better of myself by not choosing to change. I can't change for you." The hero replied, and it was all the reminder they both needed before they lunged on to their stances, and fought for their morals as the hero put it.

These aren’t anything super game breaking that turns the character into a psychopath, but they can foreshadow bigger, more important issues down the line.
—always making the conversation about themselves
—lying about something incredibly stupid but they refuse to back down from
—expecting others to pay for them at every store, restaurant or hotel
—subtle jabs at other people that they always respond with ‘I wasn’t SAYING it was bad! YOU’RE the one making ME look bad!’ (Watch one of those ‘alpha male vs modern feminist’ videos or clips for inspiration if you are brave enough)
—messy, except this time they have other people in their space (like a dorm, shared apartment, or any kind of shared living space) so their messiness makes everyone VERY upset
—refusing to understand or learn another friend/teammate/partners culture or background to even slightly understand then
—loud obnoxious voiced people who physically can NOT make a subtle entrance or just simply exist in a room without yelling or eating very loudly
—asks for permission to do absolutely anything even with people who are on the same or even a lower level than they are
—doesn’t listen to music with headphones on in a crowded space so EVERYONE has to listen to them
God I hope the last one isn’t just a me-thing because I actively want to strangle anyone who does that

"She was checking you out." The hero pressed his body flush against the villain's. The villain bit his lip and then licked it. The hero followed the movement with his eyes.
"I-...are you jealous?" The villain asked, swallowing. This felt thrilling, but surely dangerous with the way the hero wouldn't let him go the moment that girl left them alone. The backstreet was grave, with nothing but the loud music coming from the club that was placed behind it.
"So what if I am? You're mine, no one's allowed to look at you that way but me." The hero growled, and it went straight to the villain's...let's just say his body reacted in a way that the hero must've felt. "Oh, this is turning you on, is it. You like it when I'm possessive, don't you?" His body rubbed against the villain's, and the villain let out a low groan that was something close to an illicit sound. The hero smirked, and the villain knew they were going to be up all night.

“Oops, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to spill your coffee Mist-…” the hero trailed off, his eyes locking with a familiar face. There stood the villain, frozen in place. “What are you doing here?” The hero asked, bringing back his voice that was abruptly cut off midway.
“I could ask the same. This is my area, so what are you doing here?” The villain threw back. The barista behind the counter looked between them. The hero sensed it, and was glad that the villain wore a mask all the time so no one would be able to recognize him.
The hero quickly apologized to the barista, ignoring the villain’s eyes on him. He picked up some tissues and cleaning the floor. The drink had only spilled a little, so it didn’t take long to wipe it. He then grabbed the villain by his arm, and took him outside the cafe. The villain followed him with both of his eyebrows shot up.
“Since when was this your area? And, anyway it doesn’t matter. You shouldn’t be roaming around in a place like a cafe, you can get caught. You don’t want that, do you?” The hero questioned, looking around. His lips pressed together in a firm line.
“Now, why would you care if I get caught, hmm?” The villain shot back, suddenly appearing smug. He carefully pushed the hero backwards to the wall. “Unless, of course, you fear that you’ll miss me if they take me away.” He murmured, inching his face slowly near the hero’s.
The hero gave a grin, “Exactly, I’d miss you too much if they take you away from me. I would miss your face, your lips, your…” His eyes tracked down, making the villain widen his eyes and face, flush.

The hero back-hugged the villain, and sighed. “How are you always so warm?” They said, and nuzzled their face in the villain’s neck.
“Because your love radiates like the sun on me.” The villain replied, grinning from ear to ear. The hero blushed and kissed them.
“I hope she’s making you happy,” The villain growled as he pushed the hero against the ground.
“I-...what?" The hero replied, uncertain. He grunted as the villain's fingers dig further into the soft skin of his neck. He put his hand on top of the villain's, to make him stop.
"The girl you've been going out with, for like years now. Every time I try to look for you, she's always with you. What's with that?" The villain questioned, a scowl taking place on his face.
"Oh, OH. You're jealous?" The hero claimed, with a grin stretching his lips upwards. The villain dug his fingers harder. "Stop." He groaned.
"Tell me who she is, and what her business is with you." The villain talked, still scowling.
"Okay. Okay. Why don't you let go of my neck first, yeah? I'm not into choking, anyway." He said as the villain released him. He let out a chortle, rubbing his neck where the fingerprints left their mark. The villain blushed a little, glancing away.
"She's my partner. We work together on cases, and we are also quite close." The hero scolded. The villain turned his face to him, raising a brow. "As friends. Close friends, you jealous little thing." He finished. The villain huffed, he started getting up from where he was. But, the hero stopped him and pinned him on the ground.
"I should get my turn, too. Shouldn't I?" The hero murmured in his deep voice. The villain turned red, and the hero let out a laugh.

“If you knew what it was like to have your parents hate you the moment you were born, you would know how I feel.” The villain murmured against the hero’s lips, so close. The hero swallowed. They pulled back a little, putting space between them. The villain still held on to their shirt’s collar.
“I don’t know. I don’t know how you feel. What it’s like to be in your place. But, I can assure that I would never use it as an excuse to hurt other people.” The hero said. Their voice quivering at the edge. They tried to make distance between their bodies, but the villain just pulled them closer.
“Then, tell me. Tell me how it’s like to be a hero. To be someone every person loves, adores even. It must be easy.” The villain hissed. Their voice rough, and stern.
The hero snorted. “It is not as easy as you think.” Their hands moved, closing on the villain’s wrist. And, they slowly pulled it away from their collar with a firmness that made the villain falter. “Because, when you are expected to save the world, the only thing that matters is whether you can do your job or not.”
The villain laughed, a humorless sound. Their expression turned painful.

"Are you okay?" The hero questioned, breathless. They moved closer to the villain.
"No. I'm not okay. Do you think a person would be 'okay' after they've been hit on their head with a freaking pan?" The villain retorted, their hands moving to their head. A little bump was forming, and he cursed.
"I didn't know it was you, alright? It's not my fault that you decided to invade in my house at 3:00 in the morning." The hero grumbled, annoyance apparent in their frowned face.
"I came to give you your bracelet that you left behind, while you were wrestling me on that damned rooftop. Now, whose fault is that, huh?" The villain remarked, taking out the said object out of their back pocket, and placing it in the hero's hand.
"Oh, umm. Sorry. And, thank you." The hero said, sheepish. A slow smile formed on their face. They glowed beneath the moonlight, and it was the most beautiful sight for the villain.
The villain scoffed and looked away. They wouldn't admit it, but they only came to see the smile on the hero's face, and of course, to return that bracelet.
“You know you really shouldn’t have fallen in love, especially with a hero.” The hero said, pressing the dagger deeper into the villain’s stomach, attaching their foreheads, with a sad smile and tears running down their face.
The villain let out a shaky breath. “Forgive me for loving you, then.” They said, before collapsing on the ground as the hero let go of them. They gave the hero a trembling smile as their eyes closed. Forever.

Part 1

The villain huffed, their cheeks tinting a shade of red. They hoped it wasn’t noticeable to the hero. They were already feeling so embarrassed. “What do you know about being a villain.” They tried to sound annoyed.
The hero didn’t stop, though. They snorted, taking another step forward. “I was one, a long time ago.” The villain looked into their eyes; all they could see was honesty.
“Right, sure. I believe that.” They babbled. How could the number one hero ever have been a villain? From what they could recall, the hero had endangered their life more than multiple times to save the civilians.
The hero’s lips widened again, their eyes crinkling at the corners. It was hard not to stare at the hero. The villain licked their lips nervously.
“You’re rather cute, you know that?” The hero teased further.
The villain swallowed. “You–...what?” Their eyes widened, caught off guard. They were about to lose their cool and fall to their knees. It wasn’t fair– what the hero was doing. Using the villain’s inexperience to their advantage.
“What? You are. First of all, you come in here, again, sniffing my coat rather confidently. And lying about it–you’re not hard to read even in the dark. Then you ogle me shamelessly. I mean, how cute can you get, you know?”
The villain let out an involuntary whine.
The hero brought up a hand to the villain’s cheek, and the villain immediately nuzzled into it. “You should leave.”
The villain didn’t move.
“So desperate, it’s almost pathetic.” The hero mused, their thumb gently caressing the villain’s cheekbone. The villain sighed in response.
The villain opened their eyes; their faces were a breath away. They stared at the hero's lips. The hero smirked, before closing the gap and kissing them.
The villain, in fact, stayed there the whole night.
The hero wakes up one morning, and the first thing he does is call the villain, to tell him that he misses him. Except, the villain is not the one picking up the phone. Instead, the hero hears the voice of his partner. The hero’s partner. They’ve found the villain.
