Marian Prayer of Saint Thomas Aquinas to receive the Holy Spirit 🙏 O Mary, Mother of Beautiful Love, of Fear, of Knowledge and of holy Hope, You, whose holy intercession has given many of your sons to make admirable progress in science and holiness, although , by themselves, they were little gifted for things of the spirit, I choose You as Guide and as Patroness of my studies. Since You have been honored more than all the saints with the resplendence of the celestial Light, I humbly beg You through the bowels of Your maternal goodness, and especially through the Wisdom which took flesh in You, grant me, through Your intercession, the grace of the Holy Spirit, so that my mind can understand, my memory retain, my words express, everything that may be useful to me and to others, for the honor of the Holy Church, and that of the name of your Son , for the glory of God and for my salvation. Saint Michael the Archangel, desiring to be among your devotees, I offer myself to you. I put myself, my work, my family, my friends and what belongs to me under your watchful protection. Being a poor sinner, my sacrifice is poor, but you will not despise my heart. Remember that now I am under your special protection, so please assist me throughout my life. Obtain for me the forgiveness of my many and grave sins, the grace to cherish with all my heart my God, my dear Savior Jesus Christ, the most sweet Mother Mary and all men, my brothers, beloved of God the Father and redeemed by the Son of God. Ask for all the help I need to receive the crown of heavenly glory. Always defend me from the enemies of my soul, especially in the last moment of my life. Come to my aid, O glorious Archangel, assist me in the fight and push away from me, into the depths of Hell, this arrogant and proud angel that you have conquered and humiliated during the celestial battle.
