I still haven't read your fic because of the website is down.
Just wondering, what do you think it means when Camerawoman briefly turned into Cathy in the last episode? I would hate it if that was really her transformed.

ok so my idea is kind of simple but essentially? two ideas;
- the POV cameraman in that episode had a flashback to what she used to look like OR remembered a specific time she’d talked to them in his memories before as a human
- camerawoman is able to project into people’s minds(like visions) the previous version of herself to say specific messages as she doesn’t have a conventional way of verbally communicating normally.
on that latter point, I hc that the reason why she doesn’t do this previously is because she’s still coming to terms with the other life she’d lived before (since the memory just kind of. appeared after plunger man died and she had no idea about who her creator was or that her creator was literally a core foundation of her new identity before it came up.) once she fully accepts it, she embraces the new sense of self and actively employs it to communicate to others on the frontlines.
