Kids Again and BBS analysis:

Before reading this, please listen to Kids Again by Artist vs Poet.

Here’s the chorus:

“But still we laugh, we cry, we fall, we get high

The squad has went through many ups and downs to get where they are now, some good, some bad. But in the end, they all are still friends, no matter how much they insult and curse each other out, they have each others back.

Now, the 4 verses in the song I think represent 4 specific members of the crew. This is just my view when combining this song with BBS because the song reminds me so much of them. You don’t have to agree with what I’m about to say. If you have a different crew, tell me! I would love to hear your opinion on it.

Verse 1:

“I know a girl, who likes to drink her coffee black

Cuz sugar knows she don’t got time for that

Leaves her desires at the welcome mat

When she walks in.”

This verse reminds me of Tyler (Wildcat). Reasons are because I always really though he would drink his coffee black. And the part where “leaves her desires at the welcome mat” reminds me of even thought Tyler has a short temper and has basically insulted most of the crew, he really does care for his friends and wants to be there for them, possibly leaving everything he “desires” behind.

Verse 2:

“I know a boy, who likes to keep his burner on

He’s always running with no one to keep warm

Its like he’s flirting with a smoke alarm

His fire’s fading. ”

This verse is Smii7y. Number one is, “he’s always running with no one to keep warm” is basically him being single. He has no one to love or “keep warm” with. “Its like he’s flirting with a smoke alarm” is him being all play flirty with the people he plays with and finally “his fire’s fading” is a little angsty. He makes other people, both his subscribers and friends laugh, while him on the other hand doesn’t make himself laugh, making it seem like he cares more about the people who made him who he is then himself. I’m not saying he doesn’t care, this is just a analysis based the connection between the squad and the song. This song also relates to Jon (Kryoz) for the same reasons (its a coincidence that Smiity and Jon relate to the same verse😉).

Verse 3:

“I know a girl, who’s never tries to settle down

She wears her loneliness just like a crown

But when she smiles, all the kings will bow down, down, down

3rd verse is Mini (Craig). “Who’s never tried to settle down” is him in the past, moving to one country to the other. He now lives in America as of right now, but who knows when he might travel or move to another country. “She wears her loneliness just like a crown” is him before he meet Suni, his gf. Craig says that Suni was the “best thing that has ever happened to me”, making this part stand out a bit more. Lastly, “ but when she smiles all the kings will bow down, down, down” is well…. Craig has a beautiful ass smile and nothing will change my mind.

Finally,

Verse 4:

“And I know a boy, who’s broken every vow he’s made

Who’s spoken every coward’s phrase

But he can listen like a rainy day and drown it out.”

This one finally relates to Jon (Delirious). The first line doesn’t seem to have connections to him, but “who’s spoken every coward’s phrase” is basically him during hide and seek videos; he’s scared of getting caught. And “but he can listen like a rainy day and drown it out” is him listening to Evan, getting distracted from the game they’re playing.

season 2 is a heart breaker

thinking about tarsus and the mirror universe, and wondering in what ways the events may or may not have differed between the two. how can an already nightmarish situation have been twisted even worse - and what kind of effect would that have on young james?

our jim likely came out of tarsus with an even deeper sense of compassion for his fellow man - kindness forged in fire. he’s been through such hardship and pain that all he wants to do is alleviate that in others - his idea of “let me help” perhaps being even more romantic than “i love you” being cultivated there

and what the mirror image of that must be. any sense of trust or heart mirror!kirk may have possessed as a child completely shattered - kindness quite literally starved away. he’s been through such hardship and pain, so why should everyone else get off easy?

People need to understand that what they say has consequences. So don’t tell someone to kill themselves if you can’t handle the fact that they might actually do it.

I’ve been getting horrible messages like this in my ask for months, including:

After getting the message saying “Just go kill yourself” I was completely done dealing with this person’s horrible messages and replied with just an “Okay.” and logged off tumblr.

About a week later I logged back on with 17 messages in my ask, most of them from the anon. I scrolled down and at first when I logged off, the anon messaged me things like

I scrolled up more and all of a sudden they started sending me more and more messages like

This was extremely surprising to me. I thought “After all those horrible messages you sent to me for MONTHS about hating me and wanting me dead, you say ‘sorry’ and that you ‘cant be responsible for someone’s suicide’?”

But I guess the lesson goes like this:

Ablaze and John Dory

These are just some snippets of my Ablaze and John Dory headcanons that are scattered around the Trolls Discord.

Ablaze despises BroZone and he doesn't even try to hide it. The second they're off the stage after their reunion show with BroZone at Vacay Island all happy pretenses are dropped.

John Dory, the overzealous and oblivious bastard that he is, comes up to Ablaze and claps him on the shoulder to compliment his performance but before he can even get a word out Ablaze snarls and shrugs him off with a harsh "Don't touch me."

JD only has time to look affronted and open his mouth to retort before Ablaze stalks off to go throw his arm over Branch's shoulders and ruffle his hair- which Branch will not let John do- with a bright smile and an "Amazing as always, B." on his tongue.

Thus began the rivalry.

Ablaze and John Dory fight a lot, obviously, even if it's in the most petty ways that can fly under the radar. Ablaze will hold the door for everyone but John Dory, John Dory will invite every other member of Kismet except Ablaze out with BroZone, etc. One day, after John Dory does something else stupid and petty like give only Ablaze "constructive criticism" on his performance Ablaze just leans in, looks John Dory dead in the eyes, and says "I will be there for him long after you're dead in the ground." and just walks away.

And just for fun take a little snippet that will be written into a Familiar and New chapter or maybe even it's own story somewhere down the line:

John Dory is still talking but Ablaze can't hear the vitriol spewing from his bastard mouth over the battle cry his heart was pounding in his ears. Who the hell did this troll think he was to barge into their space and attack one of their own? Branch's shoulders are rising up to meet his drooping ears and he has this haunted and scared look on his face that only feeds into the volcanic fury burning through Ablaze's veins.

"I don't even know why I try with you," John Dory hisses, pinching the bridge of his nose, and Branch makes this wounded noise deep in the back of his throat. Ablaze sees red. With an outraged snarl he lunges over the couch and tackles John Dory to the ground, uncaring of the startled cries that ring out around him. He reels his fist back and slams it into the bastard's face, relishing in the crack he feels beneath his knuckles. John Dory flails, unprepared, and Ablaze uses the opportunity to hit him again, and again, and again and a sick pleasure sparks in his gut at the sight of John Dory's face getting progressively bloodier.

Arms scramble for purchase on his shoulders, his vest, even tangling desperately into the hair at the nape of his neck but Ablaze fights against their hold and struggles to get a few more hits in. No one gets to talk to his band like that. He'll be damned if he sits back and lets John Dory open his vile mouth to say one more twisted criticism to his little brother. Branch was his.

"'Blaze!" Branch's panicked voice cuts through the rage and he finally lets the paws drag him away from John's trembling body with a low growl
