My parents took great care of us, giving us everything they had, and my childhood was wonderful to some extent.

I lived through four wars, the latest being in 2021, during which we lost everything: our warm home and my mom's office where she worked in digital marketing.

My dad is one of the owners of the Jewel Tower, but my family decided to leave Gaza for Turkey in 2022 because the tower hadn't been built yet, and to provide a better life for us.

My dad couldn't leave Gaza, so he returned before the war because my grandfather is sick and needs care. I wish I were with my dad because I fear losing him.

The past few months have been the hardest for us and our family.

as far as i can find, there's not been any comprehensive scans of the fanbook put up online, at least on the english-speaking internet. soooo since there's all sorts of fun stuff in it (character birthdays! character & creator q&a's! who would be most likely to survive on a desert island! guest art by other manga authors (the one in the upper left there is by the creator of FMA)!) i wanted to make sure everybody who wants to could see it!

the images uploaded are exactly as they were scanned, no image editing save for cropping. they could use some editing to be more presentable (levels adjustment to bring the darks down, more saturation on the color pages, & a teensy bit of rotation/adjustment) but i wanted to upload the untouched files. i might create a new drive with cleaned-up versions at some point.

Fantasy Guide to Writing a Royal Family

Royal families usually rule the plot and world of your novel. They are complex, decadent and murderous. How can we write such a large complex entity?

Family Tree

You need to make a list of the royals in your story. Add dates of birth and death. Who is whose brother? Mother? Father? It is easy to work backwards from the royals today back to the past. How does your character inherit the crown? Or how close are they to the throne? Add in uncles, aunts, cousins. Keep going until it feels expansive.

A history

Now that you have a family tree, you have to create a history. How did the family come into power? Is there any mad monarchs, heroes and saints in the family of the past? A World of Ice and Fire, gives us chapters on every Targaryen King to rule Westeros. A history gives a family a grounded feel and a rich background. This can explain the motives of a character in a crown

Infighting

Royals can be volatile. If you are a step close to the throne, you want that shit. You will kill to get it. Royal families are guilty of infighting. Cousins will fight for supremacy. Sisters battle sisters over rights and honours. Brothers may turn to murder to dispatch each other. Royal families will almost always devour themselves. Like the Houses of York and Lancaster did, leaving the House of Tudor to swoop in and get the crown.

Danger

Royals are at the top so they fall hard. People will come to cast them down. Whether it’s the people or a rival family or a foreign invader, your royal family is in grave danger.

In most cases, the boys of a royal family are slaughtered as in the Plantaganets of England with the Princes in the Tower. The Plantaganet princesses were married to Tudor bannermen or sent to a nunnery. In some bad cases, everyone dies.

The Russian/Bolshevik Revolution murdered the entire royal family: the Tsar, the Tsarina, the four grand duchesses and the tsarevitch, leaving only a couple of cousins living abroad.

In some cases the family is exiled. This is the best case scenario as they can try come back at some point. An example of this is Bonny Prince Charlie and his father.

Vox Populi

How do the people receive your royals? Do they love them? Or do they despise them? Most royal families get mixed reviews. If they do good works like giving the people peace, they are loved. Over taxation can change the people’s opinions and turn them against your royals.

Titles

Not all royals have a title. The further away from the throne you are, the less likely you have a Royal title. Prince William’s kids get the title. Prince George’s children and grandchildren will get the titles prince and princess but only the children of Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis will get it but not their grandchildren.

Bro what 😭 their issues is that they have different views in life and that their put against each other because of the world misoginistic standards, they have different views and that's normal, they fight because of said views but their fights are extremely childish because neither truly understood the seriousness of it all, fighting over childish things and serious is NORMAL between siblings, fights are NORMAL everything that happens between Sansa and Arya is a realistic depiction of two siblings not getting along as CHILDREN which is NORMAL💀. Once again families don't always get along, siblings fight and siblings say mean things to each other in said fights and all of that is normal because it's literally how every relationship goes, sometimes you fight with your loved ones, sometimes you hurt each other with words the point is to get past it, Sansa and Arya are children their fights are childish and they never truly meant to cause each other harm because they did not understand what that would mean, they are both sheltered little kids for the love of god 😭

This whole Sansa vs Arya shit always makes me laugh, "Sansa bullied Arya" bruh my sister used to call me a fucking whale and i used to make fun of her teeth cuz she had kind bunny like front teeth it's normal for CHILDREN who are also SIBLINGS to make fun of each other "Uuuh but Jeyne Poole also made fun of Arya" I'm a younger sibling my sister and her friend did not want me around when they were together and would usually tease me to make me leave because guess what? They were children that did not want a random ass kid in their business (and they were older than both Sansa and Jeyne). Arya teases and makes fun of Sansa too y'all i promise you that shit ain't that deep, we literally know that they love and care deeply for each so this whole rivalry y'all got going on needs to stop cuz it's getting embarrassing this girls are between the ages of like 8-11 please stop trying to make them out to be bad people, they are children and children are selfish and assholes sometimes doesn't mean they're evil
