ummmmmmm I THINK this is the last Dinaurian character I have a ref of and the 2nd to last FF character overall
I wanted a dinaurian with wings like Dynal so I made a weirdo high-ranking advisor type. Was in charge of making sure Stone Sleep went well from an advisory and not science-based level (as a result he would be pretty well acquainted with Caephys). Because of this he was one of the last ones who went into it, and has not adjusted well to the fact that their original plan to rebuild their species has failed. Unlike pretty much all my other Dinaurians he stays off of Earth and instead can usually be found on a ship orbiting the planet
He is not super developed beyond that he is my newest Dinaurian OC (I may have said that about Red Racer but I forgor at the time)
Which do you prefer: Red Or Gold?
while i have kinda chilled a bit on the interest, i still love dinosaurs as well(my room is covered in dinosaur decorations) but fun fact, my first ever oc, which was a sonic oc, is half dinosaur, half hedgehog, a hedgesaur which kid me just designed as like.....a hedgehog....with no ears or backspines.....and tipped quills and i named him......"dino" (die-no) whichi recently learned is an italian name pronounces (dee-no)
dino has had....so many versions over the years, like total of 10 now
THATS SO REAL. my bedroom has some dinosaur stuff in it like a lego brachiosaurus standee + a rex skull model sculpt (forget what specific specimen its based off of) and in my living room we (me and my boyfriend) have a big glass cabinet full of fossils. the shelves are organized into groups. we have a dinosaur shelf (of course) and our big highlights are a spinosaurus tooth bouta as long as your palm + a triceratops vertebra. for non-dinosaurs we got some big sellers like a mesohippus jaw (early horse), an elasmosaur tooth, lots of fossilized coral, some fish from the eocene, and some amber with arthropods inside. we also have a fossilized wasp my boyfriend found himself at a quarry in new york
on the topic of dinosaur ocs i used to have this series of books planned that revolved around dinosaurs time-traveling. it went through like, 5 full revamps since its creation (which was around when i was .... 12?). ive dropped the story really all together, but recently ive been like, recycling some of the characters into other projects. maybe ill post them here eventually!
wow ignore that i havent posted here since last year. ANYWAYS !!!! somehow i forgot to post these guys alongside my Megaraptor i drew in november so 😠here's some more fandinos for Paleo Pines !!!
"fandinos" being sorta misleading though since neither of these guys are dinosaurs lol. regardless, up first we have Tanystropheus who is infinitely ridiculous. then we have Sharovipteryx, who is equally infinitely ridiculous. both of these guys lived in the Triassic - and surprisingly, are likely related!
Finally becoming comfortable with simplifying my style so charms are actually coming out soonish
Y’all can have some Soundwave shitposts,,, as a treat,, <3
Based off of these lmao

CHARACTER INTRO: FIRN
lets get back into it. up next: Firn!
Name: Firn Snowfletcher
Pronouns: he/him
Age: Late 40s
Species: Legiana
Firn is Star-shine's very mysterious, very stoic, and very protective father. As a Legiana, he's considered "royalty" of the Highlands which gives him a very high status - not that he uses this to any advantage, considering that he's decided to live isolated from the rest of his kind. Elegant, wise, and refined in his movements and character, he's not one to be taken lightly. Both his tall stature and resting face of displeasure make him appear rather cold (no pun intended) which is only supported by his reserved nature and habit of not speaking unless he needs to. Despite this, Firn has a very large heart and is very empathetic, loving and doting on his child. He tends to be a bit of a helicopter parent due to his protective nature, but really means the best.
While investigating an intruder that'd been terrorizing his locale of the Highlands, Firn chased away a rogue Odogaron, which led him to adopting the newly-made Tzitzi-Ya-Ku orphan it'd left behind. Firn has spent the rest of his life building a home for the two of them at the top of the Highlands, his child's safety being his top priority. While he understands Star-shine's young curiosity and want to explore, he refuses to let her out of his sight. Firn still hasn't told Star-shine why he's so insistant he stay under his roof - which isn't surprising, since he keeps most information about his life before finding her a secret.
