okay hi here's some headcanons I have about soapshipping

- narrators lip constantly gets caught on tyler's chipped tooth when they're kissing it's almost comical how often it happens

- narrator likes to fidget with tyler's fingers when they're close to each other and it's really annoying but tyler doesn't stop him

- tyler likes messing up narrator's hair right before he leaves for work so he has to go back and fix it. he eventually gives up and just goes to work with messy hair (also tyler likes raking his fingers through his hair in general but he wouldn't make that super obvious. narrator doesn't like touching tyler's hair that much because the texture is weird from all the gel <//3)

- narrator uses the soap they make, tyler does't. he smells like body odor and cigarette smoke poorly masked with cheap cologne and narrator is still obsessed with it like the freak he is

- not really soapshipping but tyler would listen to queen + glam rock in general. specifically the weirdly horny ones. I mean look at those 70s outfits you can't tell me he doesn't bump get down make love on the regular. narrator doesn't have a super defined music taste. he's not cool like that. he listens to creep and thinks he's crazy for it

I have only been in the Top Gun fandom for a short time but I feel like it’s not talked often enough about how much the Bradshaws and Maverick function as a single family unit. Like more than just close friends, family friends, or even relatives.

My case…

First we have this scene. Where as soon as Goose says hi to Bradley, Maverick almost immediately scoops him up and carries him.

Then we have this scene. Where Mav’s love interest is sitting RIGHT THERE. But instead he chooses to sit further away from her WITH his arm around Carole

Military standard is that when a service member dies the dog tags are split, one they are buried with and one is given to a family member (usually the spouse). And I know it clearly doesn’t follow all the right protocol becuase Mav had both. But he still has them. They aren’t buried with Goose and Carole decided not to keep them for herself or Bradley. She gave them to Mav and trusted him

And I’m not saying I ship Mav with them (individual or as a throple). But these guys are just so much more then friends, family, or even found family. There so some weird 4th thing I can’t seem to place.

Hello! I'm Willow and I genuinely hate that I'm making a post like this! It makes me feel like crap! And I am so sorry you have to see this on your dashboard, but if you don't mind at all I'd.. really appreciate you taking a moment to read.

Earlier this month, my family had to drop $3,000+ to pay the water bill, leaving us with no money except for the little paychecks I receive from my work. Unfortunately, we also have to pay a lawyer's bill of $1,500 soon. Like, December 16th soon. We have a sheriff sale on that day. Now we have a lawyer lined up ready to file a "motion of stay", but he needs some form of payment, and I currently only have $176 total in my bank account after I had to give up my own savings to help cover the water bill. I don't get paid until this upcoming Friday, but even the check won't be enough. He'll take half of that payment if necessary, but uh... still far from even half of it, yknow?

I am a 24 year old living with my 65 year old mother who just got out of the hospital after suffering a stroke and two seizures who has memory loss, and my 43 year old sister who is wheelchair bound and needs specialized care. If the motion of stay doesn't get filed, the house will go into foreclosure and we'll all be sent on the streets. Which is terrifying to think about.

I know it's Christmas time, and money is tight for everyone, so please don't feel obligated to donate if you can't. I really don't want to put anyone else in a financial strain. But if you could just share this post around the next few days, that would mean a lot. Again, I am so sorry for putting in on your dashboards, but I don't know what else to do.
