Whats your favorite tidbit about the Kenshi skeletons?
Lotsa things I like about them, so its hard for me to decide. I'll try to give you one though. I like that the Skeleton keep their secrets very, very well. Whether that be a Skeleton party member shutting down a conversation immediately when something about their past is brought up, or the ones that are in a position of control over information. Take the Librarian in Black Scratch or Iyo at the University of the Machinists. They're all in a position of control over information, and they hide away any and all of their history, much to the annoyance of everyone else, and when you speak to them with a Skeleton, they'll tell you that they are. And my favorite thing about this is that they're doing this out of guilt, that they consider their actions so horrible that its better off forgotten, and a desire to just live out their quiet lives in peace. The skeletons bear the burden of free will, which means that they alone would have to live with their actions and whatever the consequences are. They help doom the world they're on in a slow and painful death spiral, so the only thing left for them is to wallow away until they inevitably die with their world. They've been through a lot, and the Holy Nation has done a good enough job of hating them already, there's no need for the rest of the continent to turn on them as well.
