Usually i think about the shinazugawa siblings but NO. IM TALKING ABOUT THE KAMADOS TODAY

Imagine the pain of having to watch your sibling go through it time and time again just to protect you ? And the worst part is that it's applied both ways. Well it's not the worst because I think demon slayer is so good at showing what lengths you would go for your loved ones.

What takes me out every sing darn time is the first time tanjirou is trying to save nezuko. Imagine, he was walking home after a typical day, and a night spent away from his family, completely unassuming of what his neighbour had unintentionally saved him from.

That is, until he smells blood. Imagine the fear that makes his heart, his heart that has been raised to love and care, drop and ache with paranoia.

And then he's met with the horrible sight of nezuko, his closest sibling, resting in a pool of her own blood that stains everything, from her hair, to her face, to her clothes, to the child in her arms, to the snow that they lie one, to the snow that falls gently on them. His soul is already grieving despite the fact that all he feels is despair and confusion .

And demon slayer does a really good job at conveying that hurt and panic through they way they animated the scene:

And nothing is said, tanjirou just screams, devastated by the scene in front of him. What does he do ?

He must've felt the world just crashing around him as all that matters to him is taken away in the most cruel way possible.

As an older sibling, I can't even fathom the idea of losing my younger brother. Granted, he's not that young anymore. He's always going to be a baby to me. So when I first saw this scene, all I could imagine was the heartbreak tanjirou must feel. As well as the feelings of failure as he wasn't even there to protect his siblings.

THE PAIN DOESNT EVEN STOP THERE GUYS.

I think it's common knowledge that tajirous first reaction to his whole family being slaughtered isn't instant tears. It's just shock and disbelief that something so horrific has happened to him.

Even after he's processed that, his second reaction is to check if anyone is still alive. Which to me is just

BECAUSE HOW ELSE WOULD HE KNOW THAT NEZUKO IS STILL WARM ? HOW WOULD HE KNOW THAT NEZUKO IS THE ONLY ONE THATS WARM ???

imagine the rush of adrenaline his body gets when he realises that nezuko could still be alive ? Once again, Ufotable delivers with the portrayal of this as you can see it tanjirou's body language. The way nezuko has been hastily wrapped up to preserve as much of the little body heat she's still producing. The way tanjirou is moving as fast as he can as a 13 year old kid with another 12 year old on top of him. The way he literally says that his lungs feel on fire but he keeps pushing on because it's his little sister.

It's heart breaking.

Guys the kamado siblings actually have me in a clutch. They care so much for each other that it's so cute but devastating at the same time. I think this is one of the main reasons why I think that nezuko is the sole reason as to why tanjirou hasn't gone fully insane yet.

I mean, the guy sees ghosts at like every corner, but he doesn't even bat an eye. He has two very loud and hyper friends that he's constantly surrounded with. And a breathing technique literally no one has seen in a thousand years. And he questions none of it bruh, his sister is in his backpack. He's fine. There's literally nothing to worry about. lmao tanjirou is so funny for that *sighs sadly

tanjirou's grief is lowkey overlooked sometimes. It's cute that nezuko and tanjirou care for each other but it's also so sad to me as to why they are so close.

#dabihawks 🔥 pro-hero Dabi accidentally setting his birdie on fire in the early stages of their team up, and pro-hero Hawks, too allured by those blue flames blazing in the distance, too distracted in love, doesn't even notice until Dabi repeatedly shouts something suspiciously like, "Hawks?! You're on fire??" over the roar of inferno.

And Hawks sighs, dazed between the heat and Dabi's beautiful blue, as he glances down, the lick of sparks catching against his feathers as he ignored the pain, pain tolerance too high to even care, "I guess."

Dabi, who can't fly, propels himself across the air towards Hawks on pure firepower alone, faster than he's ever done, already speed dialing the paramedics as he yells, "HELP?!"

And oh, Dabi's coming closer then? The whoosh of Dabi's costume floats through the sea of blue, more distracting than ever, more beautiful than anything. White really is his color. 

Hawks chuckles as a gloved hand brushes off a spark, some of his feathers dusting beneath him, "Nah. Don't worry, hot stuff I'm good actually." 

Dabi wraps an arm around Hawks in record speed, ice already encasing protectively against his wings, extinguishing what's left of any hint of flames. 

Hawks smiles dreamily up at him, loopy between the heat and cold and Dabi's palms shooting against his wings. "Mm, you're so hot."

"It's ice?!" Dabi cries.

Later... 

Hawks lays on his stomach as Dabi's warm hands comb through his wings, righting the poor feathers who have seen better days and preening over the roughed up strands. 

"You're reckless," Dabi chides, but he sounds pained, like it's him that's accidentally caught fire today. 

"Mm," Hawks agrees absentmindedly, thinking he doesn't mind getting a little singed if it's Dabi's work. His feathers will grow back and Dabi tending to him like this, soft and attentive, is really just cherry on top of having seen the blue of his dreams. "'s okay. I'm okay."

Of all the things I see constantly mentioned about SaneGiyuu, or just in an analysis of Sanemi and Giyuu's relationship, I very rarely see people mention the Masachika/Sabito parallel. And even if it's mentioned, this moment in particular:

Like, yeah, Giyuu is very non-confrontational (best example of this being Giyuu full on knowing Shinobu was pale and yet saying nothing), but I also do like to interpret this as Giyuu understanding exactly what Sanemi felt in that meeting. Believing someone else could become a hashira and getting mad at the idea of them not making it, but instead, you do.

If Giyuu was ever someone to truly get angry and express it loudly, he'd be exactly like Sanemi in that meeting. He gets it more than anyone else. I think this "opposites" relationship they have is neat.

I really love it when Sanemi haters not only make him out to be some monster but also try to downplay his demon-slaying abilities.

First off, do you see how fast he's killing these demons?

He slices them to shreds before they even have time to react! The only slayers who have shown this type of speed are Zenitsu and Tengen.

Look at how he took out all these motherfuckers at once with just one swing!

Haters also like to say that Muichiro blitzed both he and Obanai, I'm sorry did we watch the same anime? He literally dodged Muichiro katana throw point blank! This is awakened Muichiro mind you!

And he did it by doing this Neo-how-low-can-you-go move, pulling himself up with just the power of his abs! Core strength goes crazy yo!

During his 'training' with Giyuu he dodged not one, not two but THREE of Giyuu's attacks MID-AIR!!!!

He was also the ONLY one to notice Nakime's paparazzi!

Like dude! Not only did he know something was there, he was able to judge the size, the speed and the trajectory! All of this within a split second! Even the haters have to admit, this scene was cold as fuck!!!

So please you can hate on Sanemi all you want but don't downplay his abilities or try to minimize his awesomeness.

I feel like it would be something along the lines of everything being too much at one moment (don't we love the academic lifestyle), and touya's unwanted commentary is the last straw lmao. cue keigo's crashout </3. touya watching and realising that he's high-key way more interested in this side of keigo bc why wouldn't touya be infatuated with keigo's facade falling apart.

the label is there to force touya out of the idgaf trenches lollll and to confirm that keigo is really his, and he's really keigo's, but it's not like it changes anything that was happening before ヽ(*´∀`)ﾉ pre relationship they were already claiming each other, the label just gives them the excuse to do it more lmao

lollll I feel like keigo sometimes gets fed up of touya constantly bringing up the argument that it could be anyone else, but there's a fondness that accompanies it since u could boil it down to touya thinking keigo deserves the best. so keigo will gladly prove to him that touya's the best thing in his life.

oh gosh college au keigo gets a job as a tour guide and it’s his least favorite thing ever but he wants the spending money (his parents (adoptive) only fund certain activities and he wants to have more of a life than that (and buy touya things what who said that))

just picture it. keigo takami. gorgeous guy. walking around campus (even when it’s cold) having to tell all these people he doesn’t know and doesn’t like how awesome this university is (is this not just propaganda his “mother” is the university president)

and when he’s not working and encounters other tour groups he’s all but seething because they’re loud and take up space and he does not want to deal with it
