i know that “don’t harass people for being weird, they might be autistic!” is a fairly popular take on here. but as a Certified Autist, i’d like to add that harassing allistic and/or neurotypical people for being weird is also bad, and should not be done
and before you come in with “yeah, you never know who is and isn’t autistic, and you shouldn’t force people to out themselves!” i want to say two things: one, i agree. and two, even if you could magically avoid ever harassing a single autistic person, it still wouldn’t be okay to go after NTs for being weird. they’re people, janice. they’re allowed to be really invested in naruto

this is going around twitter rn but im also super curious: please tell me your top four comfort movies that you’re always down to watch bc my friend thinks mine are ridiculous and now we’ve realised everyone’s version of “comfort” is hilariously different
I miss the genre of movie where literally anything can happen and there’s no questioning it. there’s no judgment. like. a bunch of kids explore a booby trap rigged cave system & find a pirate ship with treasure while an italian crime family tries to kill them. some guys start a ghost fighting agency and then blow up a giant stay puff marshmallow man. david bowie is a goblin king and there’s wonky puppets and a labyrinth. a child commits war crimes against two burglars on christmas. a dad pretends to be a nanny to hang out with his kids. jim carrey in eighty pounds of green make up and fur terrorizes a town. like seriously. bring back absolutely hog wild bonkers ass movies. shits getting boring
This is the face of someone who's ready to sacrifice himself..... again
One thing I am grateful for about the ToA Fandom is that they don't sexualize the kids, or tolerate it for that matter.
Like on TikTok or any other social media, it's so uncomfortable to see people constantly apply adult-themes (particularly sexual) to 14-16 year olds; such as bondage references, dom/sub stuff, and just other weird shitz. This is most prevalent in the mlb fandom, where lot of them defend it by saying that they're also minors and that the characters aren't real-- as if that makes it any better.
