Something I Love About ‘Hikaru’ Is How Humane ‘he’ Is.

Something I love about ‘Hikaru’ is how humane ‘he’ is.

Like, yeah, ‘he’ inherited that pure love ‘he’ has for Yoshiki from the real Hikaru’s last wish (either platonic or romantic, probably the real Hikaru did not have enough living time to understand it himself). But despite that, ‘Hikaru’ is not a Yandere kind of character.

‘He’ loves Yoshiki so much, and probably doesn’t know how Yoshiki loved Hikaru just as much from the corner of his mind

And ‘he’ did go out and lost ‘his’ control like a Yandere would, however, what is refreshing about ‘Hikaru’ is that ‘he’ learns.

‘He’ cherises Yoshiki, that’s all there is to it, ‘he’ cherises him for no reason, it’s an unconditional kind of love that ‘he’ has for the other boy (although we will learn the meaning of it at some point). And despite his burning feelings, ‘he’ still has the power to learn ‘his’ place. To accept that Yoshiki doesn’t see ‘him’ as Hikaru and yet to love him still.

*his pained expression when he learns ‘he’ is the reason Yoshiki suffered in silence*

This could be ‘his’ first time being a human, and doesn’t fully know how humans function. But ‘he’s humane enough to put in the effort and learn from his mistakes.

‘His’ love doesn’t make him evil. It makes ‘him’ human.
