Still can't get over the fact that stan canonically wrote fanfics

so uh this headcanon on ao3 has been ripping my brian apart piece by piece. and usually i never get interested into something enough that i post about it- but DAMN has scarab taken over my mind.

this was written whilst listening to laufey very loudly, so sorry if it doesn’t make sense since i was also jamming out.

this follows the headcanon that scrabbey used to have wings, because all scarab beetles have wings. but in f&c we can clearly tell that scrabbey doesn’t have wings.

my take on this is that scrabbey used to be more laid back, which i think is why him and prismo first started dating. since yk prismo is the type of guy to not make a fuss, when scarab now loves to prove a point. (in a very messy way)

i think that once scrabbey got sent on a mission to capture a cosmic criminal but got distracted by the world’s scenery and delayed the job to admire the view. and in cheers (ep. 10) when fionna world gets canonized we see the boss’ phone come out of nowhere, maybe hinting that the boss sees everything no matter what.

so i think that scrabbey got caught not doing his job, which caused orbo to get in trouble. and then orbo got upset that the boss was on his ass, and took out the anger on scrabbey. taking his wings and his antennas, i think this is also why scrabbey has a cane.

the reason why i think that’s why scrabbey has/needs a cane is because my main hyperfixation is cats. and cats whiskers are really important to them, it lets the cat now if they can fit in a area if they’re whiskers fit. and they use whiskers to sense other animal’s presence since their eyes aren’t too well. so idk much about bugs so since yk cats are my hyper fixation. buttttt!! i think that scrabbey’s antennas served as a bugs form of whiskers, and whiskers help cats keep balance! so scrabbey may have trouble standing up straight without his antennae’s causing him to need a cane!

i think that prismo and scrabbey also broke up because of scrabbey’s wings and antennas getting taken, since ik when cats get declawed they start acting out since they can’t protect themselves. i think since prismo is much bigger then scrabbey (both in two dimensions and in scrabbey’s of form) he felt the need to protect himself.

so maybe scrabbey started acting out (as a cat would start biting after being declawed) and hurt prismo both physically and emotionally, causing them to break up.

and as the author of the original head canon has mentioned on ao3, this also helps explain to us why scrabbey wanted to hurt prismo’s world so badly, most likely upset or and jealous about prismo getting off the hook so easily whilst it cost scrabbey his bug features.

If you're on the app, immediately go to your dms and then "add friends". After the latest update they allow your contacts to find you and have that option turned on by default, so make sure it's unchecked!

This is very obviously not great for a multitude of reasons, but especially for people in vulnerable positions who do not want people in their contacts to see who they are on discord and/or know they have discord in the first place. I've also tried finding out if this is a thing on desktop but haven't been able to find any mention of it, so either it's not a "feature" (yet) or they've hidden it. Either way, stay safe, and turn off finding friends via contacts!

I have never ever seen this short before, and now I’m screaming! Growing up the UK, I was very limited with the American shows I could watch as a kid. We had freeview, which meant we had only a few BBC channels to surf through. When I was 13 in 2011, Bob’s came out. We finally had a digital TV system which let us have a wider range of channels to watch. Comedy Central was one of them. They’d have reruns of Bob’s so often, and that’s how I got my fix. I would series-link them so I could watch them after school every day. I don’t think I ever watched the show in chronological order until I got a laptop and found my cartoon websites. I never had any access to Bob’s DVDs in my youth either, so this is a real treat to see.

Prismo is about to post a new fan fic chapter w an update so crazy like “hey y’all sorry I haven’t been able to post I got caught making my oc’s real using the magic from my job and I got in trouble!!! So now I’m in prison and the guard is chasing my oc’s around the multiverse so idk when I’ll be able to post again but here’s an update!”

God-Auditor!Prismo here kinda has his canon personality?? he is chill and fun and loved by everyone!!! but he is. terrifying actually. like he can get through any little crack, he doesn't get tired of running, and there's no predicting if he decides to let you off the hook or not

and if he lets someone go everyone will go "he's such a chill guy! how cool of him" and if he doesn't well he just does his job right?? so his reputation is kinda invincible but everyone are a little uncomfortable around him because well. he's still a god-auditor you don't wanna let him see your fuckups

AND WISHMASTER!SCARAB i love him so much actually

he's still you know a perfectionist jerk but there's no eons of pent-up rage and urge for revenge so he's much more calm

also he has no problem with everyone disliking him he likes his job he worked hard to get it and he does it as he should so everyone else can fuck off🥰

he hates when people wish without thinking tho he sees it as DISRESPECTFUL (and also he loves watching drama play out and missed opportunity pisses him off) we actually thought of a version of him and jake meeting like in canon with prismo and scarab being so mad at jake not wishing something important that he hands him a bunch of records and says to sit there until he comes up with something FITTING

scarab is interesting for prismo bc hes the only one who is not afraid if him. like he KNOWS he's doing everything by the book and there's nothing prismo can do. also scarab keeps sending complaints to orbo about prismo's work which is hilarious

scarab on his side starts off disliking prismo for not doing his job properly then starts disliking him even more bc now he constantly hangs around the cube and annoys him (scarab is convinced prismo is just trying to make him mess up so he can catch him red-handed) to you know. liking having someone around who listens to you infodumping ab multiverse
